SOUND QUALITY
For my part, I just customized my OD-808 reissue, replacing the JRC chip installed in next-generation standard by a former JRC chip in 1984. In short, the sound is now much, much warmer. We can now truly speak of his creamy, very different from what the OD-808 restored until then (and before the manipulation, the sound was already very good). In short, I believe that now my OD has definitely become one of the best tubescreamers available. For the manipulation, you need a good soldering iron températre adjustable, the desoldering braid a noose to wedge the pedal and of course a former JRC chip that can be found on Ebay, but more and more rarely (station so the price!).
