It's an overdrive, but it is above all a boost that gives a good sound on an amp lamp. Tube screamer, even when that means a "crier of tubes", so it made for plutt be plugged into a amp lamps.
Three knobs: gain, volume and tone, which is afficace trs.
UTILIZATION
Three buttons rgler very easy. A green box mtal sober look solid. A visible LED. It's simple and effective.
SOUND QUALITY
L I think for the 1st time in fifteen years, I want a super pedals that does exactly what I expected. I was looking for one pedals it to improve the sound of the Marshall that I use in BPS. I could not get a sound that I like, the sound was too rough. With the OD808, I put the gain of the clear 3 / 4 to get his limit and the overdrive on it, I add the Maxon, gain 0 or third base and volume. Frankly, sounds superb. Pout done to make the most of his respecting and the sound of the guitar and the sound of the amp. The OD808 is transparent but adds a little something, and that little something is of high quality trs if you like that little something: a grain "crmeux" but rpond tr s well to the nuances of the game's top class, I swear!
Dernire a precision: I play mainly rock band (influences: AC / DC, Baby Chaos, Queen of the Stone Age ...)^. I use a Les Paul. With the pedals, I get a size for the rock.

I hsit long time, but APRS have read a lot of criticism on diffrent pedals overdrive, I looked into this small small Maxon. Since I have, I expect one thing to play again with BPS. I've never had a sound so good while in dpart, I found the sound of the Marshall JCM 900 compltement rotten. With a fender or a Mesa Boogie must be total nirvana. Branch a wah is gnial. I love the pedals so I want to buy me another, especially another vintage or reissue Maxon. I conquered.
