- Just a little trouble with my Prophet 08 ... MIDI communication was borked ... I added an EMU Xmidi 2X2 and all is well

What characteristics have motivated your choice?
PCI Express connection for its stability, the 2 XLR inputs with phantom power (requires a 12v transformer not supplied but still ...), the 2 in and 2 out noon, 2 headphone outputs, 8 inputs and 8 outputs, pilot asio 2.

For what purpose?
Mao use in cubase 5 in particular, addictive drum I connect to my electronic drum via midi, HALion I connect via midi to my keyboard.

What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk ,...)?
Mao dedicated computer vista, 3G ram, cpu AMD dual core.


UTILIZATION

The drivers are very stable: care to take the last on-site ESI AUDIO.
Cubase 5 days have not tried to record more than 4 tracks simultaneously. Now Playing J have not tried more than eight tracks but they were very (very) loaded insert effect, plus two VST instruments (and quite heavy Halion addictive drum) they even loaded vst effects. (PS freezing the track in cubase in my opinion you can read a lot).
Latency obtained for the project described above is 5.3 ms (without freezing tracks)

I've had the little, but I am completely satisfied with. All possibility of the price at which the card is available ... but the people demand.
