Very good phaser that can do more than phasing.
Let the LFO to zero + toy on the drive, the sound comes out much richer and if you push a little saturation to the moog appointment.
We also sometimes have a limit ring modulator hands (See Opinion Tina Arkos).

2 levels of floors 6/12 are nice even if my taste phaser used in 12 floors gives sounds (a bit!) More drafts. The 6 floors is just excellent ...

    Full connectivity.

    UTILIZATION

Very easy to use. Manual not lousy.

    SOUND QUALITY

From classical to sound distorted and abused, everyone finds are considered. Behind the LP2 tested and Minibrute, this cause!

Just the same gripe about "breath" (see some opinions). Even with this cable good enough ...

    OVERALL OPINION

I am very happy with this pedal, even if I use recently!
Ok, it's not cheap but it is the kind of pedal that I do not divide them, so long as it is good and it still takes the road in a few years ...

    Purchase I remake without hesitation!

The Phaser Mooger Fooger as the name suggests is a phaser but not only!
With settings that go well, you get very fast synth sounds very, very Moog so. Genre Octaver, Ring Modulator.
The essential parameters of a good phaser are present: Effect level, LFO rate (ultra high speed never seen before on other phaser to the ring modulator described before), Sweep (displacement in the frequency range) and the resonance . Two types of phaser 6 and 12 storeys though effective.
Connectivity is no exception: stereo output using the auxiliary output, possibility to control all parameters via four expression pedals.

    UTILIZATION

Manual in English but with some very specific presets that give the basics.

    SOUND QUALITY

Let the sound! Those who enjoy absolute transparency without altering the original sound will go their way. The Moog said input color, we are here to hear the effect, not to knit! So slight emphasis on the bottom and lower midrange, but that's personal qu'j'aime this color with this beautiful organic phasing good and very hot unlike other very cold very "clinical". Send more soon qu'tu with overdrive is a real treat!
Good settings are readily available but we will spend time chiader so the range of possibilities is endless! It goes from very light phaser to more eccentric passing by "Vibe" sympatic well phase-wha effects and ring modulator octaver described above. Short! With my Boss CE-1 and my home VoodooVibe RM I completed my range of effects but none turns walking on the toes of the other!

    OVERALL OPINION

I have not yet explored all the possibilities of bestiasse but I can already do without it! In short list I had left: the MXR reissue of 74, the Phaser RedWitch MoonLight I could try at the same time and frankly I have not needed to get out the camera!
I was afraid that the components more "cheap" are the latest versions but not break the myth! Mr Robert Moog is still with us! And that's good!
To quote Mr. "décafinato" is "Moog" if not "What else?"
Who said "MU-TRON" at the bottom? Go outside! XD

I was looking for an organic phase. Oh my taste is the best behind the roland PH830 has more features but costs 3 to 4 times that price.

The pedal is analog, CV, with six choices internship internship phaser 12, bypass, adjustable drive, mix, resolution andthe frequency that resonates. (A quick glance at the screen and you will understand, there is no hidden functionality in a sub menu as often here)

It would have been ca Midif shall have been no worse for the syncro. they do well on the MF105 MuRF twelve o'clock. Too bad for that. Moog there's little to very expensive but it sounds just right! So 8 / 10 because the features are very good but not perfect.

    UTILIZATION

Very easy to use. The settings are progressive, ranging from soft and very slow to very fast.
Everything is perfect I expected no more.

    SOUND QUALITY

So here it sounds the fire god. It's hot organic perfect. I wanted a phaser like those that can be heard at midnight juggernauts and Legowelt. I bought the Moog and I have used. It sounds round, warm, precise, organic, soft, silky full of adjectives to finally say that it gives life to anything this pedal, a lead, an arpeggio, a tablecloth. It does everything out and then they just choose the frequency on which is centered the phaser so it's just perfect.

My house is on synths, I never tested with BAR but given that the LFO is here we must be able to do things a little crazy.

I love it. I wanted to start with this one and I admit I like the ring mod the coup because it is a fact that quality is rare, and MuRF (for filtered seq) and mf107 to add a tilt a single one has tilt. Anyway it's expensive but they are all good.

    OVERALL OPINION

I've had a little less than one year but does not contemplate the sale. I think she is screwed for a while with me. To my taste, the best there is Audio Design and Recording roland PH830, one like the other mega expensive and not found for ADR.
This pedal is the best! The sound is perfect, finishing moog copy ca speaks for itself, the switches and knobs are resistant oil just right.
Just a quick point, I have the 50th anniversary model and the small plaque that mentions the cons is the crap! This is not serious and it bothers me not at all but yeah blah, screen it'll top that with a single blow nail ... ho hum

Of course I do it again this choice. For the first time I immediately found the product that suits me, without passing 15 as the delays for which I think I'll never find one that suits me. I have an idea that I tapped for the shot delay ... the Moog delay?!? yes ... but not ... too expensive ... I'm not mentally prepared yet but if it's as good as phaser !!!!!! wow it must be true top!

    UTILIZATION

    SOUND QUALITY

A THE FIRST use, once connected to my micro Q, the conclusion is clear: the sound is warm, Dfine, ample, in a word huuuuge! I found that this synth dj was a big potato. With the MF-103 output is duly!!
Cot range of sounds, it can range from simple analog color (dlicieuse) leslie cab effect well aware, from well-sr by phasing the sweetest as the deepest. I finally with a big seventies I rvais tablecloths (not only)!
In fact is made with any type of sound (low - yet I rve, leads, chords ...). Just be aware that the higher the harmonic content of what he puts in is lv more pronounced the effect will be. For example if you enter a lead simple, like a tilt gnrant sinusodale a wave, the phasing effect will be almost zero. This is normal, the principle of the same type of effect.

    OVERALL OPINION

I just have it, but I spent several hours over dj (yes I am as a fuck). It is on track to become a incoutournable my home studio. I know it's not reasonable, but I want to put across, all my sounds!
What I like most is the warmth and size of the sound, the quality of the effect itself, and the look. Question default, DSOL I see it ... the price may be (385 euros) ... but hey you have to know what you want.
I have not heard many of its competitors (note there is no mass). The Electro Harmonix Small Stone of, although trs cool, sounds dirty ct. I speak not of the same PH-3 Phase Shifter Boss, that sounds really small ...
In any case I regret it, it's really the bomb.

It is by no cons to find his empty right the first time, must be sought each time.
The manual is not great, everything is explained but are shmas incomprhensibles because scans on the English version, it is more convenient to read the manual in English, that said, it is short-trs .

    SOUND QUALITY

On the sound, there is nothing to say, keyboard, guitar, bass, it can be used on any instrument nimporte. In all cases, the sound is analog TRS and dous, without being soft, trs little breath for a phaser, it is trs Loint the vast majority of phasers numrique, cold , sometimes garish, full of breath unusable! the pedals I'm redcouvrir this.

    OVERALL OPINION

I am happy with the trs pedals, I use it for several months, if not its external power supply, ensuring a better quality sound, but not very practical, it is perfect! it's on there is an effect, and is plutt CHRE, propose a multi-effect one hundred effects for the same price, but there is no relationship between the phasors of these machines, and the l.
I wanted to buy the pedals APRS be used to plug bombfactory that mule, trs plug is good, but the pedals is even better live and especially useful. I like the pedals so that I will complter my arsenal by his cousins Moog.

The MF 103 is a phasing switchable 6 or 12 floors.

    OVERALL OPINION

I used the last 6 months
J loves the look and manufacturing is very profesional.
What I like least is the use of c OTA instead of optoresistor
For really high price for this pedal j would have thought having optoresistors
I have a MU-TRON BIPHASE, A MXR100 whose sound is warmer phase and especially deep and dynamic
D use with other headphones very well mean a slight breath of the OTA circuit, blow a totally absent in mu-tron biphase dating from 1977.
So for months the relationship is bad qualitprix
This pedal is too expensive especially when you know that an OTA LM 13700N costs about 4 dollars.
Has sold half price it would be great (even without the logo MOOG).

    SOUND QUALITY

We can say that this boiboite really a unique sound warm and versatile that would justify
almost the price for I will issue still some downside:
I find that it has the tendency to "detune" the sound on certain settings, however, interresting, not easily disturbed what a singer on stage, for example ..
-Ca relative lack of quality in terms of preamps been taken on the machine, however it just saturates rather well on most of the sounds ..

    OVERALL OPINION

It has been three years since I used the n and I is not regret my purchase, both in the studio that live (I live reggea mix of a sound system) and given the importance of this effect in my kind of music (reggea dub), it is for good by the grain of my sound, I have caused staff themselves adding a compressor in the ass to fill a slight lack in preamps.
J uses the recently MuTron bi-phase, hardest is seen that there is no longer produced, let us consider the reason as "roylce" phaser pedals, I went to j is believed that m ... What neni to separate the moog trs competes well despite its small Defaux, that s just not the same sound: the MuTron has a more "organic" and easy to use, moog more "chewing gum" and experimental.

8 of 10: the configuration is not simple but the manual catches up.

    SOUND QUALITY

Strengths: great sound, very flexible, which makes the slight phasing phasing cradingue dégueux saturated and some even go to a ring modulator! We really value for money.

The effect of breath when some knobs are slightly at the end of the race, but it is very reasonable and very small with high-grade cables.

I love everything so 18/20 for lightweight breath sometimes.

    OVERALL OPINION

I love it. It'll be 6 months that I use and it is the ultimate pedal phasing.

Its weak point is its price in my opinion: it's very very expensive but it is an investment in the long term. It's a safe bet that I will have it again in 40 years if it still works, for which, given the quality of products Moog, I have no doubt.
Another weak point: The size of the box, forcing a pedalboard well supplied, but given the sound quality, it welcomes them with open arms by making him a big place.

Looking for a phaser that goes a little further than others? That is original in its settings, versatile and above all quality? Look no further, you have it.

    UTILIZATION

Hooking up the Phaser is as easy as any other pedal. You get your input/output hooked up and set your level knobs so your bypass signal is even with the effected signal. I generally set my input signal so it hits the red when I strum hard and then adjust the output to match my bypass signal.

Getting a sound going can be as simple as any other phaser as the knobs are pretty self explanatory but once you get into all the rear CV jacks the process gets a bit more involved. Moog does a great job of explaining how all the jacks work in the manual and trust me you want to read the manual.

    SOUND QUALITY

I typically use the pedal in my guitar set-up but occasionally hook it up to keys and synth. It sounds excellent with both.

I have not found another phaser capable of the thick sound this box creates. The standard phaser sound is worth the price alone and then once you get into all the craziness with the CV stuff it's just a whole new world of sounds. I prefer the 6 stage phasing and lo speed setting for general use and keep the resonance somewhere in the middle. This gets a great but not overbearing sweep that adds a perfect amount of movement to your sound. Setting the resonance higher gets closer to a sweep sound you would get on a synth and setting the speed higher can get you all the way into ring modulation territory. The ring modulation sounds were a great surprise to me as I don't use that sound enough to warrant a dedicated pedal.

I also own the CP251 which is Moog's control device. It can send all kinds of control voltages allowing you to achieve wild sounds from sample&Hold to complex wave forms that swirl the sound in a dizzying fashion. I highly suggest that box to anyone who owns more than one Moog pedal.

The only issue some people seem to have is the preamp. The preamp is always active whether you have the effect on or are in bypass. This can add some noise to your signal if you are not careful with the settings and what kind of boosts/drive pedals you place after the Moog. For me it has not been a problem and I use this pedal in-front of a high gain amp. There is a little coloration of your signal as well but not enough for me to worry about it. Stick it in a bypass loop box if it bothers you.

    OVERALL OPINION

If you just need a simple phase sound this might not be for you. The sound quality is excellent but the size and price may be too much if an old Phase 90 will work for you. Personally I don't think I will ever sell this box as it's the first Moog product I bought and it got me into all of their pedals. I did not own too many phasers before this one but none of them can get close to touching the sound of the MF-103.
