Brainworx launches 5 new virtual processors

Brainworx has released a new guitar amp and 4 effect pedals modeled from legendary gear in a special bundle available until October 15th.

Guitarists working with computer and DAWs can discover five new processors modeled by Brainworx from iconic brands:

  • bx_bassdude: a virtual Fender Blonde Bassman amp from the early 60s with modes (channels) for guitar and bass, 35 speaker impulse responses, a noise gate, high- and low-pass filters, a lo-fi delay and a new power amp simulation with Power Soak
  • bx_bluechorus2: the chorus found on the 80s’ Boss CE-2 stompbox, with the ability to produce effects up to Leslie rotary speaker, mono and stereo operation modes, support for automation and stereo bus processing
  • bx_distorange: the distortion of the 1978 Boss DS-1 with mono and stereo operation, automation and stereo bus processing
  • bx_greenscreamer: the overdrive of the Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer with the ability to recreate the tones used by Stevie Ray Vaughan up to Metallica, with mono and stereo operations, automation and stereo bus processing
  • bx_yellowdrive: the Boss SD-1 overdrive that will remind of the vintage tube amps and reacts to your playing, with tone, drive and level knobs, mono and stereo operations, support for automation and stereo bus processing

The five plug-ins are available in VST 2/3, AU, RTAS, AudioSuite and AAX Native and DSP for Mac OS X and Windows 32 and 64-bit. The bundle should have a regular price of $345 but until October 15th, you can purchase it for $129 at www.plugin-alliance.com. Note that the plug-ins are currently not available separately, but you can download separate trial versions.
