Sonar groove clips not in sync

Topic Sonar groove clips not in sync
If anyone knows about Sonar 3.0 i need advice. I recorded 16 bars of bass on an audio track.
I want to use this as a groove clip and paste the same 16 bars right after the first 16 bars. I believe
i was successful converting it into a groove clip and pasting it after the first 16 bars but it doesnt
fall exactly on the next beat of the first 16. What is the trick? I am able to link 2 commercially made groove clips together ok but there is something i am doing wrong with my homemade groove clip.
