It was a moment that I was lusting after the model without a microphone, but I thought it was too expensive (86 €). I waited for the price drop or promotional offer. So I had tagged in my wish list on Thomann, and I checked regularly.
To see that the product was no longer! Ouch! Verification, there was more than the model with micro (useless to me), but sold by Thotho 50% of the price without mic (48 €). So cracking combo + Paypal.
I receives the beast, and I put it into practice. Okay, well the verdict is that it is nice, helpful, a little cheap plastic stiffness issue (it will not be my will ... but what gear will be today, if not of my guitars 70/80), and from the outset it was not worth more than the price I have to pay for it. But there is a BUT ...
I installed the software (resident in the beast) on two PCs: PC connected to my internet, for obvious issues of product registration simple and easy updates (sometimes that ...) and on my PC Home Studio, disconnected from the world, for reasons equally obvious transfer audio files (this is the goal of the beast) ... Well I have two PCs in the bag!
PC HS (not kidding, that's "Home Studio" Grrrrrr instantly has shown signs of merdouille. Slowdown near the freeze, screen display that no longer allows me to move from one app to another with the ALT-Tab, windows application and plug-ins that are pathologically present (but empty) and do not fade even more when I clicked on "close", then nothing until "Reset" salvation. Result: Cut through uprooting electrical outlet and from the restart menu access Line6 to select "Uninstall". App toned, my PC takes time to understand my orders, to connect, to short run ... I'll have to start all over A to Z in an attempt to find the perfect two configs that I had before the intrusion Line6 BackTrack.
I still made the beast scanner by KIS / KAV, but found nothing.
, I'm like a hen before a knife: What do I do? I returned the beast (I'm well within the time) or I keep because it does, it does well?
Say no installation app that allows you to customize the corny, it is just recognized as a support media, and that I could recover the audio files for what they are. The shit started from the installation of the app.
I do not know if it is possible to cause a formatting BackTrack and reinject the app that is available on the Line6 site, but if this is the only solution, I might try it.
I hate my computer fucked like that! So the verdict is final score: 3 médiocrre, because it restores what was recorded, but for me, the price of what risk and what consequences!!

This is a very beautiful object ... a virtual notepad bound musical.
convenient and simple, this recorder can record between 24 and 2 hours as WAV, if I can not yet comment on the quality of the external microphone, live sound is more than adequate for a device to price.
Taking a brief instrument on the plug, is recorded, is brought into usb on PC is transferred, it is not more complicated.
You can configure backtrack according to use you to do but this configuration can be done by computer so you must be proactive.
As owner of a boss br cd900, I can now extract to wav while mixing live without having to merge the tracks and use a cd, finished waste, I put aside my mini disc, this application was the result exceeds my expectations.
I look forward to the test during a repeat to see that the microphone can collect.

most: easy, practical, sound quality, the price.
the least: the PC to configure, no conversion to another format as wav.

I use it for 3 days. I have not tried other models (the enregistruer pocket is not what is the most tested in the store ...).
What I like most: I need to turn on a computer to record a quick little riff that I will not forget.
What I like least: once I recorded the little riff that I did not forget, I can not twist to m'entraner above (eg small con la guitar riff while then I want a bass that goes with it) without going through the computer ... In addition, you can not take a track on the computer for work using the backtrack: it does not read it!
I think it's good quality but could ** in what-it's expensive for a simple voice recorder equipped with a jack!
With exprience, I would do certainly not have that choice.
