The NAGRA V is a fate Nagra Nagra IVS-succder in TC and replace R-dat.

The NAGRA V linear PCM recording in 16 or 24 bit 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz with an option to 96kHz. The recording medium is an internal hard drive 80 MB and support a removable 2.5 "format (FAT 32).
The files are saved as BWF (Broadcast Wave Format EBU) standard protocol exchange AES 31.
The machine must be a team option SMPTE intgrant gnrateur and a synchronizer to be able to exchange the time code with a mara genrateur or another recorder.

The removable drawers accommodate hard drives 2.5 "standards (60 to 20 GB). A 20 GB drive can record about 20 hours to 48 kHz 24 bit. The transfer to Mac or PC is using the adapters USB2, FireWire or PCMCIA.
A buffer memory makes the machine impervious to vibration and shock, and allows for a pre-registration up to 25 s (prerecording buffer).

The Nagra V has a matrix, a decoder adapters M / S and a complete monitoring. Optional limiter can team the microphone input. The Nagra V accepts LR20 batteries, NiMH batteries or Li-ion, but also an external AC or DC on 4 XLR peoples and DC. Navigation through the setup menu is thanks to Arrows located on the front. The display is an LCD screen rtro confi-clear.
