Quote: I just read the opinion on the H4 what is happening is normal and occur with any recorder.
The reason is that in the case describes, there two clocks, one of the PC and the H4, and two clocks may be completely identical, hence the dcalage after a certain time.
It takes a single master clock that synchronizes all.
To do this, simply transfrer the audio file from the PC to the H4 as indicated in the instructions and use it as a sync track. I just do it and it works.
I have copied audio files THOUSANDS of my H4 DIFFERENT PC and vice versa: no problem!
Simply:
1. Save the PC file to wav, 44.1kHz, 16 bit, mono.
2. Crer a new project on the H4 4-track mode.
3. Copy the file on the SD card in the directory of the project.
4. Open the project on the H4 and assign the file transfr a track.
5. Save the other tracks.
That's it!
(There are certainly other methods, but the one I have the test!)

As for me, I use the same method as Danguit, so needless to paraphras but rather to quote and I conclude: The opinion of fafarajfa below is erroneous (which is not pjoratif any case!)
