UTILIZATION

The handling is super simple. The sounds are easy to program. The manual is particularly useful because it is in french, over there any indications on the origin of emulated amps and effects on the machine (with the photos as a bonus!)
The advantage and the machine can be updated via internet (version 1.04 is also recent)

SOUND QUALITY

The amp models are effective. To my taste there are too many (32 I think). The effects are good (chorus flanger etc. ..) but do not expect ultra synthetic effect ..... that is to say that the pedals are simulated years old pedals 60/70. There is also no big distos crazy powerful for metal.
Connection to the PC via the USB port is very useful because you can program the software on his guitar port and send the pod.
avoid also plug it into an amp, it sounds better live ....

OVERALL OPINION

I have this small beans for 3 months. It is true that it's very convenient for the studio. I plug it directly into the sound card and it sounds great, the sounds of it there.
against latency by désagréble is felt if one plugs into the USB port, that's why I connect directly to the card.
I do not think that this unit is self-sufficient for fadas sound. I even when the couple with some effect, and another sound module (such as AmpliTube example)
I paid € 425 and I think overall, it's not too expensive for what it is.
As against the pedal, line 6 does not care a bit of our mouths by offering its first pedalboard was € 250 (and the other € 450) which is ultimately one of the most multi-purpose masonry of this range.
I would do this only choice for the studio (the issue of ease and efficiency)
I advised against by for metal (unless you pair it with the pedals that tear)
