Countdown
Published on 09/10/12 at 10:41
This is a mini amp "single channel" for guitar, which is supplied with 2 AAA batteries (LR03). This is not really an amp simulator because I do not feel the "grain Vox" there (anyway, it's not what you ask!)
Connection level, we have an instrument input, a stereo headphone jack, an AUX input for MP3, and on / off button.
For controls, there is a gain, a tone and volume.
Finally, the weight of 40g with dimensions of 86x80x31.
Battery life: 15 to 20h
UTILIZATION
It's plug & play.
Avoid putting the gain cleat to me ... after three quarters, that's enough. I find the sound less clean beyond!
Ditto for the tone. Personally, I remain roughly halfway.
But these are just my own settings. Everyone will find his fidgeting small wheels.
SOUND QUALITY
So for me, I find it perfect for large and heavy rhythmic riffs heavy, full of distortion! I think the bass is correct (unlike some opinion) ... it is personal rather acute bothers me to "blow" a few small planes solo down the handle. Did not try Amplug "lead", I can not make comparisons between the two!
Well, afterwards, do not buy this kind of device to replace ENGL, Mesa or other Carvin ...
Nevertheless, by measuring a little gain and volume, you can have a more rock / hard rock.
The tone is effective while remaining a bit rough when we move away from the "middle".
OVERALL OPINION
I since its release I think (about 3 years!)
I use rarely done, especially on vacation, but hey, it even bigger take up less space than the guitar or headphones as noted rightly notice précedent!
I keep it anyway since I had paid 20 euros in hand.
The + = big sound and troubleshooting
The - = its a bit messy (I chipotte there, because we know what to expect when buying this kind of device!)
Very good Q / P
I do not especially would do this choice because I do not play with headphones, but that does not have a choice, it is really convenient (personally I can play at low volume at any time! !)
Ultimately, I'd be curious to test Satriani "with its delay ...
