I play bass and keyboard. I started taking piano lessons at age 11. Ive played in bands sense I was 13. I was a lead singer and went on to play bass. I write, and of late Ive been involved in Christion rock band with a southern rock edge. I now play on our worship team at my church.

I got the Zoom on ebay for about 30.00 dollars.

The unit has a simple user approach. Not hard to dial in what you are looking for. Its ok.

This unit doesnt have alot of tweeking ability. Fairly straight forward.

Its just plastic. Have to be carefull with it. I would say keep it in the studio.

I like it for just a quick effect to use for practice time. As not to get board with a straight tone. I believe it would be nice for home recording. Something simple.

I bought this from an ebay dealer for $69 and it was worth every penny.

I wanted a digital modeler that was plug and play without dealing with a bunch of programs and patches. This unit is one of the best sounding digital modelers I've heard. One of the coolest features is the output character control. It gives you alot of sound variations to the basic models. And allows you to get a good sound whether running direct or into an amplifier.Also, the noise reduction is extremely effective.
The effects sound very nice.

Well you can't switch between sounds without reaching for the amp select knob. The effects(chorus, tremolo, delay, reverb) can only be used one at a time.

Although it is made of plastic it's fairly sturdy and should last since it's not something you control by foot. It's really a desktop unit anyway.

This is a good choice for someone who wants to keep it basic and straight forward. The models are some of the most realistic I've heard and it's very inexpensive.

SOUND QUALITY

11 amps modliss with varying degrees of ism, but more than enough to have fun. The effects are simple but effective. For use with all types of instruments.

It should handle it with subtlety and rglages get it sounds good.

OVERALL OPINION

It has been four years since I product and is the guarantor IDAL to train without the headphone Dranger its neighbors. Recording, you can juggle DIFFERENT modliss amps, and refine rglages hop is a live mini-disc and hop on the Ides register ...

The modlisations amp I like most: Tweed Blues, Metal Panel, and American Twin Drive Clean
The modlisation amp I like least: Combo 335 and Fuzz Stack (although the latter simulates a crachoule dfonc amp, it's dirty, it's fuzz)

In the era, I bought this because MODEL c'tait the only one who offered this type of product and now offer competitors the same thing (as may be better) but much more expensive ... I was not a lot of tunes and this amply satisfied MODEL me and makes me even good service.

SOUND QUALITY

Of the 11 amps, the American Clean clear sound is the only proposed, the Fender Twin Drive by Crunch and the British are not bad, the British Marshall Drive in the body 2 and the Modern Lead realistic enough to Soldano, the Black Bottom rather punchy and well destroy Fuzz Stack. EQ and noise gate effective, but no effects (possibly the tremolo to troubleshoot) and too many types of output rendered useless especially since the console output is supposed to simulate catastrophic hp, provide a direct box is essential for this usage.Par against a stamp combo in neutral it sounds really good and as long as we include the effects worthy of the name, it becomes more than satisfactory for the price.
