bought this sweet sound making machine at sims music in south carolina for a cheap 65 bucks

everything this thing puts out a lot of sound. It may say 10 in the name but it doesnt mean 10 watt in this case. Im in a band called no plot and its loud enough to do gigs at gain 7 master 7 for 100 people pretty good distortion

a little buzz but playing a little bit it goes away not worth mentioning

high quality wouldnt think about dropping it but VERY sturdy and well built

Get one now you will get more than your money's worth!

After I had been playing my acoustic/electric guitar for about 6 months my brother found an awesome deal on this amplifier in a pawn shop for $30 or $35 I think. However, it sells for around $70 or $100 new. He bought it for me to: (a) drive our parents crazy [just kidding] (b) help me get ahead in guitar learning, and (c)paying me with the amp instead of $$ for helping him with something.

I really like this amp because it has some kick to the amount of sound it puts out. It's got a 6 inch speaker and has built-in distortion although I usually don't use it because I have a DOD GS30 effects board w/ built in distortion. I've had this amp for probably 4 or 5 months now and so far have been very pleased with it. The headphone output jack is very useful and it has a 3 band EQ. For a starter amp I'd recommend this one.

It doesn't seemed to be labeled exactly how many watts it is other than "IBZ10." I had been told it was 15 watts but recently found out that the 10 in the name means it is 10 watts. However, it does put out a lot of sound for the size and money which I do like. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

It's contructed very nicely with a strong cabinet, nice speaker, black leather-style cover finish, strong black bumpers on all corners, and a nice compartment in the back for storing the power chord and/or other accessories.

I love it. Probably sometime I will get a bigger amp for performance, but as a practice and/or small performance amp this one is awesome. I haven't really used other similar 10 watt amps to compare it to them, but most likely I wouldn't trade it for another one.

I was bought this amplifier from a store called "Music exchange" in Stockport, United Kingdom.
I was bought this amplifier because it was an excellent starter amplifier.
My parents paid aproximately £70 or just under $100.

I like this certain amplifier because it had an excellent distortion built in, a good volume range, 14 watts of power and a headphones input. As you can see it has everything a starter amplifier requires.
I have had my Ibanez IBZ10 now for a year and is still in perfect condition.

I can't really think of anything i didn't like about this amplifier because it had anything i needed when begining guitar. It is a great amplifier.

The quality of the sound of this amplifier is good. The distortion sonds great. The construction of this amplifier is brilliant. It is easily transportable and is very durable in case accidentily dropped.

This amplifier overall is brilliant. The price range is easily affordable, the sound quaity is good, well constructed, 14 watts of power. Everything you need to get started. I highly reccomend this amplifier to everyone starting.

UTILIZATION

Config simple indeed
but the gain goes up very quickly, almost no crunch, right now the distortion.
The EQ settings are ineffective, low rajoutent a heavy and a dark veil, the mediums are thoroughly but add only treble, and treble of the ultra high frequencies.

The sound is distant and aggressive.

SOUNDS

The clean sound is passable, pretty slamming. The OD is a disgusting, no presence due to lack of midrange, no bass and treble shrill. It's really yucky. Even a Marshall MS 2 (2 watts) to € 40 sounds better, in the spectrum of the guitar.

The volume is low, even at the bottom, it's not so hard.

OVERALL OPINION

I just found this amp at a friend, it's really bad, it sounds like a wha-wha was engaged at the end of the race, a filter that would pass the treble and high mids.

I do not know its price, but whatever it is, it does not apply.

The amp is a ibanez IBZ10 travel transistors possdant 5 knobs: one master volume, gain, bass frequencies, a medium and a Tremble
all accompanied by a small button "Boost" for engaging the distortion ....
and that's it, it does not much, but on the other hill is an amp travel! It is just the minimum!
Level connections, it was a Jack and a headphone output that can s'avrer practice.
I put a 4 is not much, but I know we must relativize! I do not see why I metterais a 6 or 7! This amp has only the bare minimum!
Dlivre power level, in his clear, ca fons mouth too, but the saturated one wonders if it really is a 10 W! (This may be my pdalier AX1500G Korg multi-effects (one of the best quality-price) which boost the total)

UTILIZATION

Good with this type of amp is not too complicated to have a "clean", but it depends on what is meant by l. .. (This is not a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier for either! Still happy!)
There are too few rglage to get lost in! Compar my Bandit II 65 W at Peavey ca change!
The manual is well done for (APRS to what I remember), there are examples of settings, but this is not a novel (the amp does not have much there so CHARACTERISTICS not need 36,000 pages dcrire use).

SOUNDS

Okay, now we go to things srieuse! SOUND!!
In clear, that sounds pretty average, actually it depends very much on the guitar .. With a Yamaha RG 121U, it sounds "normal", with a BC Rich Beast Platinum Pro Bourrin is not terrible (although the latter has a blues sound on my Peavey attaching trs)
In distortion, it's not great either, just drinking (relativize all the same), I explain:

Ds but it is pushed too far, you realize its limitations! the amp starts to jog alone because of the vibrations low lol! It's pretty funny to see! But it's been a lot of noise at the same time! lol!
A large volume (between 6-10) with the gain lev plutt we feel that the bass are struggling and are in acute frquences dsagrables.
In fact, the problem comes from the speaker that is small enough (but it was his practice ct) and PForm sounds.
Please note the sound qu'met IBZ10 is a distortion and not overdrive! What's more nag!

OVERALL OPINION

I have used for a year and now, he retired to my room on my Peavey 65 W.
I had well liked on this amp c'tait price, less the CHRE competition or I bought it then that was not too bad, it was the prsence d a distortion rather bourrine (hehehe).
I tried a fender 15 W at a pal and a 15 W Berhinger with another which I think suprieurs in many ways (especially with its lovely fender overdrive)
I think the quality-price ratio is not so bad that the notes above the left imagine (Ha you see, I relativizes!)
With exprience, I admit not knowing if I would do such a choice, although this amp is not expensive at all ...
(In fact he just served my debut and I progress too quickly to keep a long time ...)

So there is a small 10 amp, transistor, what is most bte ...
Officially, it's 10W, but with some boosters, you get more than 10W when the master volume is back ...
A legalization (bass-treble-mdiums), a volume knob, a gain knob for the overdrive switch and a channel clean / overdrive. Finally, overdrive, it's official. But the bass tends to cheveulus plusqu'une disto disto of rocker.

UTILIZATION

Uhm ... The qualisateur is quick learn, but we need to know to balance it ... This gives not aisment sound, but when it is obtained, it is enjoyable.
The manual just the bare minimum, as usual 'with Ibanez ... Four examples of rglages that does not diffrence. In short, it's roots.
And with a boost derrire, it will sound if your a rhythm against a battery. (He eventually be coupled to the 10W Marshmall live, before being replaced by an Ibanez TBX30R).

SOUNDS

Personally, he never served as the live, I always play unplugged at home ... Coupled with a 10W Marshmall. Otherwise, it is suitable for rhythm and solo passages not too pronounced. The good point of this amp is that it is neutral (like all Ibanez products), it does not color the sound instead of a Fendur or Marshmall.
A GRG 170 DXL silent attach it with a Boss HM-2 (SERIES Japan) followed by a Zoom 505 II and Ibanez FZ-7, until o another amp Ibanez, more dance ze, is input into the life of its possessor. Since it is the position of relgu amp voice to the mouths of his master. Sad end?

OVERALL OPINION

Ran for a year and a half live, it is always prt resume service, but it remains in the closet. His only asset silent void its color. Too bad, it would have served even when eh! But hey, less than 70 amps of this power, has justified the purchase for a first guitar amp. But I do not Rasht, too feeble for small lives.
