Purchased to replace a SF12,
for 800 euros you have two microphones and tape dircetivit M130-8,
extremely right a couple of RULES, you can make a Blumlein XY (see photo) to raproche of the result of a Royer SF12
not better, not worse, it is a little DIFFERENT,
phasing is perfect (checking "in summing mono channel in opposition, more than any signal)
the sound is perfectly natural, near a farm the direct sound balance its dissemination is the best!
that's great across the spectrum with a color lgre "ribbon", but all the same very right
couple Blumlein stereo image is opened without extreme with a tiny clearing in the center compared to SF12,
OVERALL OPINION
Well it sure...…

Well it sure you have a good pre amp and a good Converto, I would say a Grace Design M201 Purple BIZ or two or a Neve 1073 MK
at least 65 70dB Gain and Impedance of a multimdia 1200 ohms, all converted with a UA 2192!
on my cello, bass is impressive and makes you want to do film music !!!!!!!
and when you go making anything that sends the ball (drum room, rhythm guitar, brass, piano supported etc ...)
you can go there with closed eyes and push your track in the mix, without it you tear the head, but with a depth and power that is close to that chosen by the musician! and that's the basics.
I have 2 and I will redeem myself and the 160 is too much!
