SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
DP43TF Intel, 2GB DDR2 Dimm, Realtek Audio, a brief office PC already quite old. No problem.
OVERALL OPINION
I have been trying for three days, I know the module Score Cubase SX2, which I find very decent for a sequencer, Harmony Assistant, Forte, Notation Composer, Final I just do not like the interface, and I compare MuseScore now with the demo version of Sibelius First 7. I have not pushed things far enough to compare all the possibilities and those of Harmony Assistant MuseScore, but the latter wins the prize, to me, intuitive matter (HA is pretty cluttered, but it creates all kinds of tabs instruments, including diatonic or chromatic, with lots of options - advantage HA). MuseScore meets demanding classical composers, it goes far beyond my needs, we can find images of Partos Web. A detail, I appreciate the model Leadsheet Jazz, with its text fonts (chord symbols) jazz. MuseScore import and export MusicXML, MIDI files are imported, but less precisely than Sibelius First 7, which is nice. Still, really remains to be seen whether the differences justify an expenditure of one hundred dollars.
