UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice to me, it acroche not the manufacturing quality is there. Access to acute is easy as all SG.

For sound, you plug away and it sounds!

SOUNDS

This guitar is suitable for the big rock to blues.
For heavy metal no problem either, according to what is of very great sounds all depends on the amp and pedals eventually, but the microphones Oringin have an output level sufficient and are not EMG. It depends what you plug in, but all lamps in an amp no worries enchainer of Led Zep, AC / DC, Guns, blues will be short of the 60 to 90 years easily.

OVERALL OPINION

This is my main guitar. I changed the pickups for classic 57/57 +, redid the electronics by putting condos best qualities (increased tolerance) and rewire in type 50's. And above all I shielded the cavities! On this model, no trace of a shield not even a shot of bomb ...
After a good setting in a luthier, I rediscovered my SG which seems to be rising a notch, the tone Bonton react much better than before the race the volume pot.
Magré its pickups a bit impersonal, the SG is one of the best quality / price of the brand! Microphones, one finds easily on occasion and welding wire are more mass ... sprague orange drop the condos we find a tolerance for 2 € J.
Frankly, unless she likes guitars with 1kg of varnish / lacquer, this is a real Gibson SG, a real SG with a look that leaves no one indifferent when it is removed. Buying a quiet and a good basis for an upgrade!
I put 9 because nothing is perfect, and others prefer a more specialized level guitar pickups without wanting to take a soldering iron or spend a few hundred dollars more.

Good and well is the small spcial (Gnrale between the end epiphone / gibson) of MODEL SG made in USA (as is the handle engraved Behind: )), mahogany varnish Nitrocellulose (it gives a nice effect, very dull, but it protects not much), the handle also sg standard mahogany, the fingerboard is rosewood and has featured white spot up, rather rare on the SG (they are usually species of rectangles), but not so much on sries spcial (I remember having a small epiphone les paul special also dotted). Tune-O-Matic bridge, no tremolo so. The pickups are endless 490R and 490T, 2 volumes, 2 tones, 3-position switch (the 490T, both the 490R).

UTILIZATION

A super jouabilit such as an SG standard. It is a rock guitar riffs and solos directs. The handle is what it is for 50 years, relatively large, 22 frets, ultra-accessible, with answering and nevertheless have the tie then.
It's fast but not soft, here.

In my config, all rglages are exploitable, some work better in rhythm, others work better as solos, especially the amps tones depending utiliss.



SOUNDS

We will say directly, it sounds great! it's good guitar. I play in a group that requires large (big) distos and good, they clearly do.

The grip is natural, the possibilities of sound (switch and tone), although different from each other.

I plug a V-twin, a 9200 and one (or two) 1960 (G12T 75's), its 3 distinct sounds are real and well rendered. It makes such a JCM900 MKIII (though this config least respects the characters of the guitar).

Mics mlent strong enough strings, which makes - at least I think - the solos endiablsa half drunk, everyone does not mind a shredder meticulous ... Apart from the p90 is more or less the same thing on the other SGs.
I had a bunch of money in my pocket and i was ready to pay me a more "high-end" but sincere, after you test all the SGs available Store - mod the more or less so - I came to this special. Nothing better to my ear before 1000 or 2000 euros more.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it a year, I played guitar for 17 years, I always (thought) prefers fenders ... I ax my research in this direction and strength to try everything, this is the guitar that spoke to me directly, rather than the pretty tl Thinline, jag and other "opposs" a direct this SG.

Apart from the finish, and cost zero option (no white on the button, no square pearl, not hidden microphones, no lacquer paints, etc. ...), I found it has everything a great question and comfort.

N'tant not guitar, it is difficult for me to give this info, I bought this guitar because I love the sound and especially Gibson SG sound even if, if I had the means, I invested in a les paul.

L I can say that yes, the neck is super enjoyable, all notes are accssibles even if, again, not n'tant guitarist, I do not play solos sick ...

The only default from a bad rglages to the departure of causing false notes at the top of the innings if we do not watch out. But a small tower at the Luti and the problem is rgl.

Regarding the type of sound, I love her big fat guitars, and what I am served the ct. I was looking for this sound and I'm not at the price quality ratio is terrible, especially since we sometimes find in paris under 700 euros today so yes, I recommend the purchase without any restriction, as long as you are looking this kind of sound. And possibly to erase fears, it is not a cheap gibson is a real one, 3 guitarists playing buddies on paul me borrow regularly as 2nd guitar for the scene .

UTILIZATION

Well, I must say that I was initially reluctant to SG, because I preferred the Les Paul. Alas, a problem came with the Les Paul, g no big finger for a guitarist.
I've traded my Fender cons this SG and I lost nothing by the change.
