Earthworks TC30
The Earthworks TC30 is a uniquely designed condenser microphone that has an omni polar pick up pattern. This is not only a unique microphone in terms of look and shape, but unique in that it will pick up signals up to 30 KHz and as low as 9 Hz. Most microphones will pick up sound between 20 Hz and 20 KHz because that is the range of human hearing, but the Earthworks TC30 is kind of a high definition microphones because of the wide range of frequencies that it picks up. The slender look of the Earthworks TC 30 is extremely unique and it makes it possible to really 'zoom in' on the sweet spots of certain instruments.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using the Earthworks TC30 condenser mic and I have found it to be a great all purpose mic. This microphone is great for applications of all kinds, but I mostly use it to recording acoustic guitar, acoustic piano, and other acoustic stringed instruments like violin, mandolin, banjo, and cello. I find that since the frequency response on this microphone is so wide, it really picks up all the subtle sounds from these instruments. Everything comes in crisp and clean, and they also are great for picking up drum overheads. The price of these microphones isn't cheap, but if you are a professional looking for an all around great condenser microphone like this, it is probably worth the price. Earthworks has a unique line of microphones, and the Earthworks TC30 is one of their most popular models. I find myself using these microphones a good deal when I want to pick up the most subtle sounds in acoustic instruments. While the price may make it a bit hard for the home studio owner to get, for professionals the Earthworks TC30 is truly a great all purpose condenser mic.

Earthworks TC30
Excellent microwave background is a radar that are not large diaphragm mics, the diffrence the position of each sound in Stereo, accepts high sound pressure levels due to its low sensitivity but sufficient to music with a good low noise prampli: 8 mv for Easter. Excellent omnidirectional, it does no better with the DPA 4004-and-QTC1 QTC50-QTC40-QTC30 of Earthworks.
Other electrostatic microphones are older design that can still love, even if they are less efficient or more gnralement sometimes moisture sensitive.
But beware of confusions made on the site, all microphones are modern electrostatic membrane technology or traditional nikel mylar dor or alumina with a rear electrode called a back-electret, DPA as earthworks referred to here . The electric field is created by the rear electrode over grazing in an electrostatic charged matriau hot, which is not so commonly known lectret microphones mounted on the t lphones phones that only the membrane is electrostatic, and cre loaded matriau this field. Lgre having to be to keep the bandwidth and the sensitivity and the membrane becomes heavier design s'paissit To create this field electrostatic stable and sustainable, there is a compromise and the High performance is lost, life, sensibilitbande bandwidth. I think this recall is useful for many technological diffrencier choice.
The advantage of back-in electrostatic lectret is amlioration performance against traditional technology electrostatic voltage bias, lack of converter To create the tension of 50 200 V and lack of sensitivity of the cell vis - vis the humidity is an advantage in noise. Having said that the microphone is, like all electrostatic microphones, moisture sensitive because it contains an electronic circuit whose components are moisture sensitive as all that electronic tidit not g nral. More here because the electrostatic micro whatever contains high-ohmic Resistors, capacitors and multilayer Cramique an epoxy printed circuit that acts like a sponge. All my microphones, DPA Earthworks as me and other possible problem of noise when various stocks between 65 and 80% humidity without being Global Warming few degrees atmosphere. This is the price to pay for the quality of the electrostatic in almost everyone but it is a default in the electronic gnral.

OVERALL OPINION

One of the best microphones for multichannel even if it is not a cardioid! But it is also a perfect all-purpose omni prices INTERESTED.
