OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 1 year and a half, (very effective) essentially directional mode for recording acoustic guitar or percussion. The sound is clear, good dynamics, and I get a very high quality in my mix without having to retouch frequencies.
I really do not know what value the cardioid heads, however, some tests I made gave a good result (choirs, but not for microphones head).
I also have a Rhode NT1, too sensitive for my taste, and most importantly, a U87 (awesome). But NT55 which at top for stereo sound taken on major trends.
In short, for me, these are microphones very good price / quality ratio, I do not regret for having purchased.
