« Studio sound on stage! »
Published on 05/21/11 at 14:12Condenser microphone singing on stage.
One of the best microphones to date, only surpassed by Neumann KMS105 much more expensive.
OVERALL OPINION
I never liked the sound of the Shure SM58 and I soon passed Béta58 much better.
But as soon as I heard the Béta57, I adopted him despite the higher price.
Transparent, as if there were no intermediary between the singer's mouth and ears.
No sound pest: no hiss, no pops, no handling noise, no breath.
No feedback because of its hypercardioid, while being easy to use because you can sing pretty off its axis before it becomes as annoying.
Very solid.
Sound that does not change over time, as did the first song Sennheiser static.
Short of perfection. Worth saving.
