OVERALL OPINION

This guitar is a good alternative (cheap) to REFERENCE MODELS Ibanez 7 string. Good quality for money.
Verify, however, that the 7th string is really essential to your style of music ...

UTILIZATION

I always look for the functions of switches that do not appear to change the sound. I will have an update APRS chang in the microphones EMG. This should also make it quieter because the shielding of the BTE is not terrible.

APRS expansion of dfonces by a luthier (DNG has done an excellent job with the frets and the shield of dfonces), I put an EMG 707 in handle and a 81 / 7 with easel . Rsultat: POWAAAAAAAA !!!!!, strong distortion in the sound passes over the rope and clean Septimus is perfect. Only microphones backgrounds that make this dcevante trs good scratch 7-string

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year. I'd buy in large balance to see if I could adapt July 1st string. I was not expecting miracles and I did well. But ultimately I like it because the handle is enjoyable and his look is a bit more metal than the Ibanez of the same price. But a council must prvoir to replace the original pickups.

UTILIZATION

I play progressive metal, with passages much more atmospheric rock. This guitar suits me perfectly, a range greater than 6 strings you need to sound really metal. Do not expect a clear jazz, but I am not limited by the guitar (since the change of pickups!)

I play with a Marshall MG100DFX (Yes, it's not the best amp for this report on the possibilities of a guitar!) Even if I go soon to a tube combo (ENGL screamer or Hughes & Kettner swithcblade).

Micros of origin: either clean sounds with lots of bass, a rather unpleasant nasal side, a small lack of precision. Its hard to get a slamming or crystalline, even with the bridge pickup. Distortion in the sound is good on the strings acute notte solo. For cons, the strings are suffering from lack of precision and overflow low. And that buzz a lot ...
uveal pickups (Seymour Duncan SH6 and sh4): The clear sound gained in accuracy, clarity (less bass and less nasal). The distortion sound is not as rough, great!

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using for over a year, I just change the pickups.

I like his aesthetic, the handle is more ergonomic than the other 7 strings I've experienced (I am classical guitarist, so used to handle a wide and flat!)
I do not like the pickups of origin, and the volume knob that lacks progressiveness.

I test the model 7-string in the same price range (around € 500 new): Ibanez, PRS, ...

The value for money is good. Count € 200 more to change the pickups, and you have a good quality guitar! For someone who wants to test the 7-string is a good investment.

I would do that choice again!
