'I plug my fender on a marshall AVT150H and I can get almost identical characteristics to that of his hendrix but I can also get close to a sound has Page.

-The Micro cobalt noiseless really excelent both its clear that crystalline distortion, and can compensate for this own weakness to Start 'Standard,

In short, a wonderful ca rings, ca resonates, all with class!

cutting and machining of wood makes it very easy to play guitar.

    SOUNDS

nothing to say, it's more than ... by insipid against the silence of the microphones is not a legend .. this is nice ..

the resonance of the guitar is average .. I would have preferred a more snapping strat ..

    OVERALL OPINION

Then ... Too expensive for what it is, you will have the pleasure of reading "California USA" engraved on the heel of the neck and a beautiful case thermo-molded.
I even tested Asian models more convincing ..

If you want a good fender new U.S. should really pay dearly .. voila.
The term "deluxe" did nothing fancy here believe in my experience ..

Conclusion: Resold after 2 years for Fender Baja Mex; (a killing).

I have had a squire strat pak, and it was fine for about a year and a half, for a beginner, but i wanted something much much better, so i went to guitar center and they ordered for me specially a fender american strat hss for about 1000.

EVERYTHING!!! It is so smooth and soft to play on. It sounds great, it hardly ever goes out of tune. And the whammy bar thing is really cool. Most of all, it looks real nice, and it came w/ a hardshell case and a care kit w/ an xtra cable, cloth and someother things that i have not figured out what they are yet. O yeah and the dots on the frets are cool.

Excellent. Everything is smooth, and the finish on the guitar (mine is chrome silver) is great.

This will be last electric guitar u will ever need (I think). Its a quality, well made, great sounding instrument from the company that started it all.

Bought from Hogans Music, Newbury UK. For the rather reduced price of £800. It is Red, with maple fretboard, the usual abalone inlays, aged plastic, locking machineheads etc....

It looks amazing, the maple and the red along with the aged plastic and (now rusty... i let them go that way) screws it looks so vintage.
The neck is like butter and the frets and attention to detail is meticulous. It sounds beautifull. Every one of the noiseless pickups sounds wonderfull. The vibrato (well at Fender they call it tremelo... Wrong!) is smooth and and everything stays in tune.

The wammy bar falls out. Constantly, it used to be alright, but it just keeps falling, not that i use it that often.

I sometimes wish i had bought the fat strat instead.

Solid as a rock. Nice and rugged yet all very very well done and tastefull.

Im not going to need to replace this. It is a perfect guitar, but it does come at a price.

I bought this guitar at piano's and stuff in Pittsburgh, Pa for around $1000 dollars tax included. I purchased this guitar because I needed a quality guitar and I was tired of playing anything less that the best.

There's really nothing not to like, This guitar has locking tuners, comes with schaller locking strap locks and never goes out of tune. The intonation is also the best I've yet to play. Also you can get absolutly any sound out of this thing. Given the right pedals and some basic guitar knowledge and creativity, you can do anything with it. I really have no complaints about anything on this guitar. The only thing I wish I would have done different though, is that I wish I would have bought the american deluxe fat strat. That humbucker is freakin awesome.

The construction is anything that you'd expect from a high quality instrument. It never goes out of tune, its almost wierd. Other than that I have yet to have any problems.

Bottom line: I looked for a new guitar for about 6 months. I played everything from gibson LPs to Prs's to a whole bunch of off brand expensive stuff not worth mentioning. The problem with les pauls and prs guitars are that they are one trick ponies and their tonal qualities don't even compare to this guitar. This is easily the best guitar for the money and then some. I'm not knocking LP's( I currently bought a gibson standard) but this strat's intonation is better, it stays in tune longer, and in my opinion, is the greatest damn guitar ever. Thank you

Bought new, Sam Ash, King of Prussia, PA. I've been saving up and my Squire finally bit the dust. $935 included case and care kit.

Pure Fender. Noiseless Pickups --a winner. Rosewood fretboard, ash body, pearl dot inlays, smooth, fast, and toneful.

Floating bridge is harsh on keeping the strings in tune, but much improved on this model. Lots of tools for maintenance and setup. Setup should only be done by a professional if you want it done right. and ouch on the price! If you can afford it, you can't go wrong.

A+ on everything about this guitar.

The last electric guitar you'll ever need. Period.

I like the sound, clean and sharp, smooth to play, very good looking guitar, black body and rosewood fretboard, with a Original Floyd Rose bridge and a humbucker pickup and 2 single coil pickups. When the bridge is pretty much okay, tuning is perfect, either harmonics or notes, and it holds everywhere.

Besides, I like to play Malmsteen, who tunes a tone 1/2 lower or so, and Satriani, Iron Maiden, Vinnie Moore, who tune their gear standard. which means I have to reset the bridge everytime. I never know if the bridge is leveled, and it's a hard work to change strings and level the bridge.

Amzingly perfect and clean. Just beautiful finish and it still has no dents of bumps on it.

It's a great professional guitar. If you know how to set it up, I think it's one of the best and most versatile guitars ever made. You can play Heavy, Soft, Jazz, Samba, pop.. classical...

The Fender Stratocaster is a iconic instrument that is really stood the test of time. There hasn't but then much evolution of the instrument but certainly there has been some modifications to the original instrument. You've seen these guitars feature hardtail bridges or hunbucker pickups installed or a variation of different types of pick ups in the instrument. But overall the body has virtually never changed. This is a great sounding instrument and probably one of the most versatile instruments that you could ever on our play.

    High-mass tremolo block

    SOUNDS

The tone of the Fender Stratocaster is a very unique tone that has a sound that is fantastic for pretty much any style of music that you play. This is the kind of guitar that you would grab if you only have one choice in the world to own one guitar. This would probably be the guitar you would grab because it has such a great tone and extremely versatile usable voicing that blends well with pretty much any style of music. Whether you're playing it with a high gain amplifier such as a Marshall or a Bogner amplifier or you're playing with a clean amplifier such as a Fender or a Vox amplifier you're going to get a great sound and a great tone night after night of playing.

    OVERALL OPINION

These guitars come in right around $1499 or so. It's a great price for an American built solid sounding instrument . The color of this guitar is great as well and overall this is just fantastic guitar for any player whether they're learning how to play the electric guitar or have been playing for dozens of years. This is a great guitar for anyone recording and doing a lot of live playing as well. Whatever application you put this instrument and it's going to do quite well for you.

You can immediately feel a great tone and overall from first strum and just probably the most versatile and perfect instrument you can play for any style of music. You get three single coil pickup's a volume control knob and two tone control knobs that allow you to dial in your specific total needs for each pick up. You also get a five way pick up selector that allows you to pick each pick up individually and then the space in between the two outer pick ups in the middle position. It's a simple guitar and doesn't have a whole lot of extra switches and booths and different things to get in the way of just pure tone. The wood grain with this pick guard is a nice look as well

    SOUNDS

The tone from this guitar is absolute top notch. There is a reason that these guitars have been copied the world over and still remain one of the most classic icon on music history. This is an extremely versatile guitar with the 5 way selector and humbucking and single coil operation. You can find these guitars played by some of the most famous musicians around the world.

Any old amp will do with this guitar. This guitar will connect with you like no other guitar can and probably ever will. I love the way this guitar sounds with a good old Fender Bassman or a Marshall plexi amp. The soul from this guitar is just magical and pleasant. If you have played one American Fender Stratocaster than you know exactly how one sounds. There isn't too much variation of tone between Strats. This fine instrument is so silky and smooth that is makes you amp sing like it was meant to be together.

    OVERALL OPINION

At new you can find these for right around $1500. This is the deluxe models series so there is a little more involved in the building process and the overall construction is top notch as well. This one be the step right under custom guitar from Fender. So if you don't want to spend several thousand dollars then this is the best guitar for the money.

Mine of origin, required adjustment of the handle, the bridges, the vibrato, microphones short the total.
For this guitar already suggest 10/49 as the tyrant of strings, try having a lot smaller and just bends are difficult to control and it turns more into a register very jazz.
This is a guitar character that we must learn to know and master.
Mine is montego black, black with very light brown flakes and gold plate blends very well into the landscape of violin
The neck is maple C is on mine, handle very nice, very fast because of the maple.
Easy access to up to treble the box after 19 ca becomes complex with my big fingers, ca jdis for those who try to play the solo to Whole Lotta Love top
The guitar has a balance and let go of it does not move, it's very light, one can easily enchainer few hours on it without releasing.
If you get a good sound easy? Lol what a question is a stratocaster!
the noiseless pickups are very accurate and the system S-& can cut the mics to get that sonoritées s'aproche the humbucker.

    SOUNDS

I play everything, really everything lol .... and this is the perfect guitar, she can walk in all registers: jazz, rock, blues, bossa, hard, metal ...
I use a Fender Hot Rod amp Deluxeet is that of happiness.
Can be a lil sorry for playing dirty sound like Neil Young, is a little bully, pushing its retrnachement because noiseless pickups as their name suggests removes any noise sound, and it has a negative effect feedback on the detail but it is a
it is possible to obtain a large number of sonoritées, the very hot or even boiling for blues and rock hendrix way, the lens, very cool to funk. when the system activates the s-1 can be considered stand up to Gibson, of course remains the grain ca fender do not expect a big sound bold, but the sound is round, heavy, powerful, you can easily play the led igh zep or hard rock with crazy metal disto my boss me 50 I play sometimes even metal.
a sound that is the j'aprécie particularly through micro s-1 activated which allows the recovered a slap in the manner of superstition stevie wonder.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use depusi over a year now.
Special? I do not know, I like my guitar is all, is a set of things that make it my 6 th member.
I tried a few guitars, a rickenbecker, a Gibson SG standard telecaster a ... but nothing very exciting.
The guitar is expensive there is nothing wrong with a deal but once you know where your money is spent is the US fender with a perfect finish and I find nothing wrong in it a worth the price ...
With the experience I would do this choice.

    - Peavey Classic 30; Digitech Rpx 400
    - Start is the sound, despite all the criticism I've read on the SCN, jugs too "clean" by some: clean sounds absolutely stunning, snapping wish, or round and mellow for jazz . Crunches are incisive and prcis, arrogant and returns it. Finally, a couple Fuzz, Hendrix tribute is mandatory! The switch in him is far from being a gimmick, giving more substance to the sounds DIFFERENT, and approaching (and I mean approaching) with a double.
    - The crunch sounds are my favor: I do not play with this more practically config, just fiddling the gain of the amplifier.

    OVERALL OPINION

    - I use it for a month now and each grip j'prouve the same pleasure. The mere fact of opening the flight and feel the smell of wood! I rediscovered the joy of my beginners, fun to play.
It is obvious that it is an investment but for that price you have a high-class instrument, trs well finished ... While the SCN do not have the character of Texas spcial, but are all the m me a great Russianness.

This is the rosewood model of the American Deluxe strat. They have both maple and rosewood models, but I happened to pick up the rosewood one instead for whatever reason. I guess it just spoke to me more. The guitar features an alder body, a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, dot inlays, a two point tremolo, locking tuners, three single coil configuration, one volume, two tones and a five way switch.

    UTILIZATION

    UTILIZATION

The rosewood on this was nice and dark. You could almost mistake it for ebony, and it made me wonder if it was dyed previously. Nothing was coming off on my fingers when I played it, so I couldn't really tell. If you look at it closely, you can still see some of that brownish/redish tint going on, but for the most part, it looked pretty dark. The neck on this was a very nice, medium C shaped neck, and it felt really nice in my hands. It was a good alternative to the thin D shaped necks that I'm so used to playing. The tremolo on this is pretty solid, and the locking tuners are very cool. I wish more companies would include locking tuners in their guitars. Overall, there wasn't much to complain about except for some minor issues with the fretwork that I noticed.

    SOUNDS

The guitar had SCNs in it. If you've never played SCN pickups before, they're super quiet single coils that almost sound like humbuckers at times. The bridge especially sounds like one hot humbucker. It was completely slient, too. I was able to get a metal tone with this guitar without much of an issue. Yes, a metal tone with a strat. I'm not talking just any metal tone, either. I could do some super high gain death metal with this if I wanted, the singles were that aggressive. However, they start to get a bit muddy on the low end once you do that. Speaking of muddy, don't even bother with the S1 switch. It's pretty useless. The neck and middle were great for some killer lead tones. I also got a very nice clean tone in the in-between positions, but it wasn't that classic Hendrix kind of sound that so many are used to.

    OVERALL OPINION

These are very solid guitars, and I almost tend to prefer the rosewood model more at times. The rosewood helps give it some warmth that these guitars can need at times. It basically mellows out the overall tone. I've seen a few issues with these guitars -- mainly fretwork and nut issues. If you're looking into buying one, be sure to check for those. Neck joint issues are pretty rare from my experience, and they tend to be a bit better quality than Mexican ones. Most shop models just need a good setup.

This is the 60th anniversary deluxe that Fender decided to release. The guitar features an alder body, a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, dot inlays, a two point tremolo, locking tuners, three single coil configuration, one volume, two tones and a five way switch.

    UTILIZATION

The nut on this needed to be recut. It had some issues with tuning stability as the slots weren't cut properly. If you've ever tuned and noticed some sort of "ping," then you know that string is binding at the nut. I noticed this with the G and B strings. It's a relatively easy fix, but you have to watch out for quality control with these guitars. The neck joint was pretty tight, and there wasn't a huge gap. The tremolo on this is very nice, but I tend to prefer it to be resting on the body rather than floating like some people like it. The locking tuners were also very nice. I tend to like these locking tuners the best. I'm still not a huge fan of the radius that Fender uses with their guitars, and I wish they'd use something a bit flatter than the standard 9.5'' radius, but I'll have to live with it.

    SOUNDS

The guitar had SCNs installed in it. The SCNs also come with an S1 switch. First of all, the S1 switch is basically a capacitor being thrown on to make these pickups thicker. In reality, it just muddies up the sound, so I recommend just leaving it off. The SCN bridge was awesome for high gain. It was super powerful, and it could rival a humbucker. On top of that, it's completely silent. I was shocked at how quiet these things are. They're even quieter than some of my EMG guitars. The neck and middle worked great for getting a strong sounding clean tone. On top of that, you could get one hell of a lead tone. It was singing and sustaining for days. If you're looking for a classic blues sound, however, you'll be sorely disappointed. These pickups seem to have been made for metal players in mind.

    OVERALL OPINION

The guitar is very solid quality, but I don't think the anniversary model has anything going for it that the others don't have. If you find a good deal on one of these, definitely check it out. However, if you find that these are going for more than what the other models are going for, just get the other model. They're all pretty much the same when it comes to the Deluxe line up. Be sure to buy used to save money.

For cons, I do not like the system S1. Certainly we gain round but there is no grain (thus zero for the Jazz) no details (ie zero for the metal) and finally the distorted sounds are better without this system ... nothing to do with a real humbucker.
I play in the studio on various boxes such modeling Pod, Tonelab Guitar rig or see while on a Rivera amp Rothelle 112. In all cases it is really very good. I put 9 only because of the Decomposition Systems S1 which has no interest for me, Do not think you can replace it with Les Paul ...

So it is perfectly suited to my style of music if I will have not taken (it makes me laugh the metalheads who say they can not play metal / thrash / power / death fuck with their Start ...) no c is short for ...
So I play blues, blues / rock and some jazz is impeccable
So I played with a fender fm 212 r transistors is not the top but it already gets a great sound especially on the clean channel.
    All sounds are beautiful

    OVERALL OPINION

I for one week, I play it every day ...
I do not have much perspective to judge the long term, but a beast like this can only last for ca
the price / quality ratio is good given the quality of materials and finishes well on its
do it again if I do it again without hesitate
Changing 02/02/07: It's been two months now that I fully exploits and confirm that indeed I said it is a wonder, I recently a hot rod deluxe and the sound was already beautiful is beautiful now ...

APRS for jouabilit the selector etc. ... is a stratum, so it's perfect.

    UTILIZATION

The handle is very well Designed, trs comfortable for a Start and fast enough (we're still not on a Jackson or an Ibanez JS 1000 but it's not his game ..)

22 frets, it's well done ... trs I tried a rcemment with 21, and in fact, really missing ...

    Access in acute is easy.
The only problem, weight ... PSE it as heavy as my Les Paul Standard ... Now, I rarely had in my hands a stratum with much sustain and EHJV!

The more versatile than I had and tested.

I searched a long time slamming his position that gives low 2.
But in the S1 Inrush middle position, the sound is the lens! trs slamming and rveille mdiums well until the absent without the switch (or at least weaklings ...)
In distortion or jug, the bridge pickup is amazing and the neck pickup has a close enough of a grain of P90 in Gibson, trs trs fun and versatile!

    SOUNDS

For my part, I mostly pop rock, and I come with the switch to have the full range of sounds that I want ... with trs enjoyable sensations.
I plugged into my Line 6 Vetta II and my god qu'c'est good!

    Enooorme!

Sounds clear: switch on and slecteur in the middle (the most beautiful clean sounds)
slecteur off and position 2 or 4 (but lacks a bit of mdiums)
Sounds crunch: switch on position 2 and slecteur
slecteur off and position 1 or 5 (4 possibly)
Saturated Switch off and slecteur April 1 or 5 others are not intrssants.

    OVERALL OPINION

I've had two years is a MODEL 50th Anniversary and I would not change for a Custom Shop Clapton!

It is terrible and trs versatile ... but a little heavy ...

Anyway, shame you can not buy it because mine is a limit SERIES!
