Fender American Standard Stratocaster [2008-2012]Published on 08/01/11 at 21:19
The Fender Strat could be the best guitar that has ever been created. Not a fan of three single coils as I am some humbuckers but this is a gem of an instrument. Fender is the kind of the single and yet classic looking guitars. The Stratocatser in one of the most iconic guitar that this world has ever known. It is silky and resonant which just a hint of aggression.

This guitar is a Sienna sunburst with a rosewood fretboard. The sienna sunburst is very cool and one of my favorite colors on this guitar but I don't think it matches the rosewood as much as the maple. I like the rosewood on the traditional 3 tone sunburst but not with the sienna. It is too dark with this transparent job.

    UTILIZATION

    SOUNDS

The first thing is that this guitar is built to rock. Their is a soul that not another guitar can capture like this instrument. I would have to replace the pickups in these guitars because Fender pickups are just terrible. They are worse than Gibson pickups and those sound like garbage. Other than that the guitar is a true gem to be played.

This guitar sound great in any amps mix. No matter what your amp is or what set of preamp tubes or power tubes you have this guitar will just sound excellent. You get a great tone out of a Fender amp and will get you those classic vibe cleans sounds. If you play with a Marshall plexi style amp just get a Big Muff fuzz box and you will be killing it with some Jimi Hendrix tones.

    OVERALL OPINION

At new you can pick these guitars up for right around $1149, which is a great price for an American made guitar. There is a bit of an up charge on this sienna burst over the other models since there is a little more work involved with this paint job. This is classic guitar and meant to be cherished and played. You can abuse these guitars and they will stay true to you. I highly recommend everyone to own at least one Fender Stratocaster at least some point in your life. Everyone deserves a little soul.

    One sexy Strat

Fender American Standard Stratocaster [2008-2012]Published on 08/01/11 at 20:45
First off this is one of my favorite looking Strats that Fender has come out with. I might be partial to this guitar because one of my best buddies owns this very guitar. So I have spend a lot of time with it. Other than my first STrat I have ever bought this one is my favorite piece that I have ever played.

This is the Sienna color sunburst on this guitar. It is a transparent color that you can actually see the wood grain through the paint. This is a very cool and artistic treatment to this guitar. There will be an up charge for this paint job so you have to like the color otherwise it is not worth the extra cost.

    SOUNDS

Every Fender Stratocaster I have ever played needed the pickups replaced. So for every Fender Strat out there you are going to have to replace the pickups. It amazes me that someone like Fender who have build some of the world best guitars and amps completely and utterly fail at making pickups. Its not only Fender but Gibson pickups suck as well. Their pickups have to be the most horrible garbage sounding pickups in the world. I'm sure that someone out there has topped them but their pickups are just trash.

Any old amp will do with this guitar. I like all Strats with a good old Fender amp. I also play them with a Marshall amp but this one in particular I have played with a PEavey CLassic 50. OK amp not for me but the guitar shines through that amp though. This guitar will also work for any style of music except most of the drop tuning stuff. You won't be able to get a deep thick fat metal tone from this guitar. Any of you are into that kind of music you already know that. Other than that it will suit most players just fine.

    OVERALL OPINION

AT new you can find these amps for right at around $1150, that is a bit of an up charge for this sunburst sienna color. a little bit more time involved getting this thing to look this way so there is an extra charge. Well worth it if you dig this color combination with the maple fretboard.

This color option on this guitar is just a stellar masterpiece. It looks almost like a frost metallic gray color. Very unique and very excellent. I like this color combination with the maple fretboard very much. It just has this appeal that draws my eyes right into it.

    SOUNDS

These guitars sound amazing in any format you put them in. They are an essential element of music and will be until judgment day. When it comes to the sound of a Strat there really is no other. Many other builders make good guitars but none as classic as this guitar. I hear guys talk about finding a Strat sounding guitar and look to Suhr and Anderson and completely bypass the sound that started it all. The sound is everyone from Jimmy to John Mayor and in between. You have more control of the fret board and the upper frets. The fret board seems a little more flat on top compared to a PRS guitar or a Suhr. The feel of the neck is just what makes this guitar shine its light.

    OVERALL OPINION

At new you can pick one of these guitars up for right around $1099, which isn't bad for an American rock legend. You can find them on the used market for right around $650. So even the used ones hold there value pretty well. So many tonal possibilities that will accompany anything musical genre from pop to modern rock. I would recommend this guitar to any guitar player. Everyone needs a Fender Strat in their arsenal. A great everyday guitar and a players dream.

This guitar is a nice look to classic American guitar. You can find these guitars played by some of the most famous musicians around the world. This particular one has a nice body paint on it that you don't always see around. the metallic paint shimmers and you change your viewing angle. The maple neck compliments the look of this paint job very well.

The tone of this guitar is an standard fender Stratocatser tone. It has a brilliance and color that can only be found in a Fender Stratoctaser. You can try to make it sound like a Gibson Les Paul but nothing you can do can change the way a Start sounds. This guitar when flipped to the neck position is that classic blues tone that so many artists has used in their recording and live applications. You get the volume kicked in a little and the gain taken down a little for a nice creamy blues based guitar tone. Something you would see John Mayer or Kenny Wayne Sheppard do quite a lot in their style of guitar playing.

These guitars sound great with any amp you plug it into. This is one of those guitars that just sound great in any application with any effects or any distortion pedal. It is just an instrument that is begging to be played and played hard. This is a players guitar that needs to be beat on and driven to the edge.

I prefer to play a Marshall style amp with a Fender Straocaster. It sounds great as a nice blues guitar and gets those neck pickup tone with a great. These guitars have so much style and flare. I like to play blues with these guitars but that is just what naturally come out when I pick up one of these instruments.

    OVERALL OPINION

At new these guitars come in right at around $1150, which is a great price for this guitar. It has a great weight and feel on the neck. The tone is just awesome but I would recommend changing the pickups. Like all Fender guitars the pickups need to be switched out as soon as you get it home. In fact don't even take it home order some pickups and just take it to you guitar tech for a pro setup and pickup switch.

This guitar will work in any environment. They sound good with Fender amps and they sound goo with Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifiers as well as they sound with any Marshall. They sound just flat out amazing to me. The tone of these guitars do not change from any other Fender Stratocaster that anyone has ever played. If you have played one American Fender Stratocaster than you know exactly how one sounds. There isn't too much variation of tone between Strats. They either sound like a Strat or they sound like a Strat. You can tell the difference in a Gibson Les Paul, a Fender Telecaster, and Fender Stratocaster. They each have their won tone and sound that uniquely their own.

This is a classic piece and an instrument that will last a lifetime of joy. You can pick these up just about anywhere Fender guitars are sold. I put 10/10, is impeccable in this regard.

    SOUNDS

The sound, both Costeau and very christalin!

not no joke, from blues to funk Vaughan and then 70's, this American can do anything annoying ... no? lool!
all with a dynamic dream that you play while typical solenoid or finesse, always responded very well and fairly, it's great.

the neck pickup and central, is Vaughan, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, etc. ... CHECKPOINTS 2 and 4, blues and funk, at the choice! christallin it to perfection, and in addition they are rich in feeling!

on micro acute, well surprise, I usually used rarely alone, and although there is little even consider a resumption of ACDC!! excellent! What sin!

I still put 10/10, the sound is just perfect.

I'll let you listen for yourself:

    OVERALL OPINION

    I've had two days, since I play with .... 5 / 6 hours!
I have, as soon as I got home a little "dunlop lemon oil cargo board" button, and a set of strings nine.

if you like strats, offer you the American, it's 100 times better than any Mex, which are good guitars cert (I have one myself and a Squier!), but the U.S. it has nothing to do.

I already read "a Mexican with a good microphone and a U.S. ...", we know that it is completely false.

    treat yourself to the U.S..
    I paid mine 1125 €.
mex with a micro kit will cost you almost as much ....( oooh, just below ....)
treat yourself to the U.S. !!!!!!!!!!
    it is good !!!!!!!!!!

    The Standard Stratocaster

Fender American Standard Stratocaster [2008-2012]Published on 06/02/11 at 11:30
The Stratocaster is an icon in the world of guitar design. It was designed by Leo Fender in the mid 50s as an evolution of the Telecaster. It has a classic double cutaway design with an extended top horn for better balance. It has a contoured alder body with a pickguard where all the electronics are attached. The stratocaster has tree single coil pickups and they are selected with a 5 way blade switch. The position most rearward on the switch selects the bridge position pickup. The next position right selects the bridge and the middle pickups. The middle position on the pickup selector selects the middle pickup on the guitar. The next position selects the middle pickup and the neck pickup. …

And the selector position closest to the neck selects the neck pickup. The neck is a maple neck with a maple fretboard and 22 jumbo frets. The neck is not too thick and not too thin. The headstock is the iconic Fender shaped headstock with 6 tuners in a line. The bridge of the guitar is the well known Fender tremolo system which is the weakest part of the guitar.

    UTILIZATION

The strat shape is very comfortable. The contours on the body are perfect. This model has the rolled fret edges with make the neck comfortable as well. Some Fender Strats have a lot of gloss on the back of the neck which makes the neck sticky and hard to play on. The finish on the back of the neck on this guitar is just right. It has the dark color like a vintage strat without the sticky feel. Many guitarists do not like the large neck join that is on stratocasters. The neck is attached with four bolts in a large square joint. For some people this large square block may get in the way of their playing on the high frets. The radius on the fretboard is no super flat so you can still do large chords without hurting your hand. The American Standard Stratocaster incorporates bent steel Fender saddles. The original vintage-style Fender bent steel adjustable saddle is one of the components that give vintage Fenders their unique tone. Then Fender improved them, narrowing the spacing to afford more room (and complement the bigger frets and rolled edges), and also elongated the string slot to reduce friction and string breakage, while improving the string break angle over the primary contact point. The screws on the bridge can sometimes be sharp and get into your hand. The tone block is a special alloy that is blended with copper and is 100% homogeneous so it will produce a better tone.

    SOUNDS

Fender Stratocasters are known for their twangy sound. This guitar is no different. The bridge pickup gives a twangy bassy sound that you will instantly recognize. When you combine the bridge and the middle pickups the two pickups cancel out each others noise. So in this position the guitar is quieter plus it has its own tone. The neck and the middle pickup also have the same feature. When you combine them the pickups cancel out each other noise. The neck pickup is great for solos and chord playing. For me single coil pickups are better suited for clean playing or low gain playing. With a high gain metal sound the pickups will be very noisy and will have a good tone. Under high gain single coils sound harsh and tinny. With a clean tone they sound great and have a good amount of clarity. With a clean tone a good single coil will get you a bell like tone. Single coil pickups because of their design will pickup back ground noise. They are not naturally hum cancelling like humbuckers are. Over the years Fender has made the pickups quieter and quieter but they can never be totally quiet like humbuckers with the design they have.

    OVERALL OPINION

The Fender Strat is an icon in the guitar industry. It has been played for over 50 years by countless famous guitar players. Its classic design and tone means it will always be a benchmark in the guitar world. With its twang and bell like tone it will always find a place in music somewhere. If you are looking for a good solid guitar for country or light rock you can get the Fender American Standard Stratocaster. Once you start playing a stratocaster you join the group of many famous guitar players who have made their living with a strat in their hands.

    SOUNDS

What style of music: all! Blues, rock, Funck, reggae, psychedelic rock, 60's, 70's ... Everything goes smoothly.

The violin is of excellent quality. We can make agreements without slamming it frieze. Waves of wood resonate with harmony, warmth, or slamming velvety nuances exist with this stratum. I'm impressed.

I swapped my Mex Start pickups equipped with custom shop 69 for the american strat. The difference is obvious. All shades (out of Pink Floyd or Hendrix) I've always tried in vain to approach with my Mexican are achievable today! I was discouraged by my game and my ability, I am optimistic again! Fender U.S. thank you!

I play with a Fender amp (Princeton Recording): shades are beautiful, you can just play with it, except jazz (for purists) and metal.

No sound is annoying me. The bridge pickup, usually screaming is crammed harmonies. The ear does not suffer anymore!

Start the blackmailed all pedals: TubeScreamer, fuzzface ... with so many shades! I rediscovered my pedals!

    OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days.

I had (I always) my Mexican Start. The latter rings false, no harmony. It's a good guitar to start and become familiar with the Start sound. But it is very limited.

After a moment, considering the price I think it is much wiser to slam a few more euros and take a real us. There is no comparison!

The price is not so high as that. Finally, I say this, I hope it will age well! I paid 800 € for OCCAZ. If you compare to more expensive models, considering the quality of this guitar and versatility, ultimately it is not that expensive.

I love my girlfriend will get jealous! It's really a great vintage model 2008: the handle, the microphones, wood, comfort, dynamics, there is a legend!

The problem is that when I try to send a bit of vibrato, I have to press like crazy on the whammy bar and it's out of tune guitar in 2s ... I'll be set and j'uperai this topic.)

    UTILIZATION

Okay, so coming from the world the Les Paul, super different, I really find it too lightly. But it's an advantage for many people! Cutting the body in the comfort of the womb was a bit puzzled too. but it quite quickly actually. Also from the world of logs that are the Gibson sleeves, the sleeve of the stratovolcano that came to hand was a little afraid, afraid of breaking it in too hard ... benda But no. The beast holds up. True in two days I was almost too comfortable on this than on my old shovel Scarlett (a Gibson in 1991) so no lizard. I put great, but it's almost racism on my part.

    SOUNDS

While there, we enter the difficult part. Insofar as I love the distortion, and I had appropriately equipped to meet the Les Paul, I must admit I was disappointed that the strat on this point. Even if ... We finally get to find what you want. It's slamming, lens, not fat as they not add masses of Fuzz. The clean sounds are the most beautiful I have so far obtained on a guitar. Very versatile and volatile sounds clear, it's really a joy to play. on the other hand ... In disto, say what you want, CA P ***** BLOWS! The sound was pretty good air behind this wall of white noise, but my god it's breath and as it sizzles! At the same time my old guitar was an exceptionally quiet operation, and I've plugged this shovel in a Fender Champ XD which seems to have a small pb ... I'll have to test this amp with my Gibson. And he accepts badly effects. With a Big Muff, ProCo Rat, nothing to do, I do not much sound. Advice of those who? (Strata, I mean) I put average because average.

    OVERALL OPINION

So I use it for 2 years now, but as I travel a lot I have not always with me, and I have not often used in the best conditions. she made a dozen concerts, and has never really held a candle to my Les Paul. I may have fallen on the wrong number, dunno ... I tried a telecaster before, it slammed it, but I changed it because I found the sound too close to my Les Paul ... Error perhaps. Nevertheless, and despite the fact that she snores like a hair dryer as soon as you plug a distortion is a shovel that I love, especially with its clear sound, comfort and look of death killer! :) The value is not fantastic, especially given the quality of wiring. I think I would go for a deluxe if I had to redo this choice, the range above draws me a little more. However I do not intend to sell right away, and it's still a very high end guitar.

    UTILIZATION

In other reviews, I mentioned a complaint about the 9.5'' radius. It's not for me, but it works for most people. This guitar has the same issue, but again, it's personal preference. The two point trem on this is very nice, and it stays in tune nicely. One of my favorite features on this guitar is the nicely rolled edges of the fretboard. This makes it feel very broken in and not nearly as sharp as some other instruments tend to be. MIA fretwork is usually pretty good, but it can be hit or miss depending on the day it was built, how the luthiers were feeling, etc. I'm also glad this instrument has 22 frets instead of the 21 that is featured throughout most (if not all) of the MIM line. The neck is a very comfortable medium-esque C shaped neck that seems to be actually somewhat similar to an ESP neck at times.

    SOUNDS

The pickups on this guitar are pretty good. They get that great vowely tone that single coils are known for, have a great quack, sound very nice with clean, mid gain and even high gain tones. That said, I still usually replace these with aftermarket pickups. My favorite singles at the moment are most likely the DiMarzio Area series, and they really make this guitar come alive.

    OVERALL OPINION

If you're in the market for a strat, this is the model you should check out. It can be had for a great price used, and they're fairly solid guitars. That said, you should really play before you buy as Fenders can be hit or miss with fretwork.

Well, start with the general appearance. I am the proud owner for a year and a half of a Fender Stratocaster U.S. Standard 2008 vintage bought second hand. Yes, because a tool such as this, it is reasonable to assign it a vintage. And 2008 is a good year for me. I got it used, almost new. The guy wanted a Les Paul U.S., and it is expensive, so we sold all his equipment, slip included. Clarification: I mean a real Strat 'USA and not a highway one.

The sunburst: My Start is wearing the new sunburst 08 ',' sienna Mapple. Very beautiful. I wanted a dress that changes from brown sunburst "standard" flooding the market and new housing opportunity. I. For skeptics, it is a sunburst that aged very well, taking an orange tint. Texas finally mood. One begins to Billy Gibbons' lack more than the beard and Stetson.

The handle: Neck and maple fingerboard. Sweet as honey. As pleasant as silk. Very good use is discussed below for the sounds. It is a timber that does not tear the phalanges. Those who are used to rosewood fingerboard, it will change you. We note that the button lights up a lot, and not need a neon to view: A good layer of varnish covering it. A delight for those with delicate fingers. For loggers or category sweating like a boxer in the 15th round, flip you over rosewood, because on all the strats, rosewood I tried, the amount of varnish is smaller compared with maple and therefore it involves no risk of you sticking your fingers a bit. QED. In short, forgive me, but this wood is a maple syrup for those who can appreciate it.

The pickups: 3 single coil SSS standard U.S. layout. 5-way switch. I will not expatiate here on the 3 knobs Volume - Tone 1 - Tone 2. The plastic of the pickguard, pickups and knobs are in good factory, they age well, I mean they do not crack and will make a beautiful cream color over time. If he remains true, the mistress of a MILF tonight will and will improve with time and discovering previously unknown ways.

Mechanics: Good manufacturing too. Even for fans of woodcutters bends one octave, it takes the agreement. For skeptics and languages of vipers who tell who want the mechanical Fender are no better than dog excrement in a box of William Saurin, I say no. Wrong. I tried a Les Paul U.S., hence at Gibson, and it is there bah less agree that the Start '. And I'm not anti-Gibson.

The Bridge: Wilkinson. Not Floyd, unhappy. Please note that the bridge meets the stem less stress. No need to force a bear is a helping paw to take.

The frets: Count them if you like, but it's not a guitar designed for metal.

So, I put 10/10 for the general appearance, because it's beautiful, nice and very good quality. It's expensive for something new, like all other people will say some, find a OCCAZ 'which has little use and negotiate.

    UTILIZATION

Let us now look in a little less visual.

The maple neck, I hope you know now that it's one of the finest woods, with lots of varnish on it, I will not go.

Ergonomics: Oh, my god. You can sleep with, to quote good old Keith. It's built like a divine damsel, if I can this lyrical excesses. Very good weight distribution. It is light. For those who have had fake-strat 'between 150-300 €, you will understand me. It's simple: You sit down, put it on your thigh, it does not address. It can be used "all day long".

Access to Acute: Yes, easy to access. Afterwards, it's not a Jackson either.

To put in context, it is not a guitar maker custom made with wood hand-picked, dried thirty years steam Havana and whose manufacture takes months. For those who think they have the best guitar of all time, will require ironing. At this time, choose your own wood, please let dry for thirty years, buy a winding machine, copper wire and stuff you 10,000 rpm. It said.

Obtaining sound: Yes it's easy. For starters, you'll discover a whole world with the two knobs Tone. Readily obtained a good sound, all mic sound good anyway, we shall see in section sounds. Generally, a layer is designed to make it sound immediately when connected.

In fact I would say, according to my tastes, but three guitars are essential: Stratum "for clean sounds, the Les Paul for the big crunch, and the Jackson Soloist for his harmonic metal.

Well, I put again 10/10. This lack of objectivity you might say. Certainly. It comes in the more technical points.

    SOUNDS

While, sonorities. Here, I will praise the previous perspective.

The styles of music available in the original configuration: Country, Blues, Funk, Rock, Hard Rock. Do not count out the Zakk Wylde that. And yes, it suits my style: Hendrix, Gilmour, Rory Gallagher, Eric Clapton, Mark Knofler, Billy Gibbons, etc..

The types of sounds obtained: Haha, it depends on many parameters my friend. It is plugged into a Marshall Haze 40 (hey, I know, this is not the reference lamps Marshall but I could not afford to buy a JCM 800 and playing in a room of 15 square meters, I do not see the point).
In clear channel, clear sound, like Fender, amazing is not it?
Position 1 may seem to lack body, I find myself in any case it is the best. In this position I sound Hendrix, must be adapted after the saturation, of course. Position with a lot of middle.
Position 2 has more depth, I found more fat, less clean. Good for the Rory Gallagher.
Position 3: Its really crystalline, very good on a Marshall clean sound. Less than a Fender, too steep for my taste.
Position 4: Son richer, typed English Rock by John Mayall & the Yardirds.
Position 5: The less workable but very nice when you know an amp set. His blues 60s. Quite acute, much more than previous ones. You can really make a good blues sound type Peter Green and BB King. In general, the sound is magnificent clear channel. Really. And saturated crunch is so beautiful. Clearly, I have the sound of Pink Floyd ... needless to say that to me the effect. Wonderful, it's another galaxy. The guitar carries you in its colorful melodies.

We go in the least: Average Output. Not enough potato. Obviously, these are single coil. When I plugged a Les Paul on my Marshall, I was almost twisted an eardrum, I had to turn down the volume of 1-1.5, and a lamp, it seems. But really not enough sustain. I thought about changing the pickups. Custom Shop 69 ', Texas Special, Irish Tour ... but we finally get a sound very distinctive, almost designed for one style of music. It's a bit sacrilegious to change pickups on a U.S.. A strat U.S., a set microphones for life. In addition they take a different color of his strength to play and age, it's still good workmanship. So I've kept. But hey, eventually it will. For those who want to sustain the large Black Label Society, bah do you buy a chainsaw ... No I'm bad. It's not a guitar designed for heavy sustain, that's all. By Rory Gallagher cons of the bottleneck is fully in its strings. And here we find that sound on a strat U.S., it's not worth looking elsewhere. It's a guitar you need to know to appreciate, everything is in shades. We discover a little more each day.

Of wood ash body. The sienna sunburst is the only standard U.S. to use Ash: The more crystalline, and even less cluttered than alder.

It should be noted that the config 'SSS was not enough to sustain me with the original pickups. This is bypassed with config 'HSS. But in this case, you lose the single coil bridge, which is unfortunate because it has a very personal sound, that must be mastered in order to draw its essence. In short, to sustain, at the end: you need two guitars, a Les Paul and a Start. These two instruments are very endearing that you'll be hard pressed to separate you. Like good doggies seeking hugs and a little bit of recognition.

It is a guitar made for blues sounds, there is good. Also for the British rock for years 60-70, for the Hendrix (really?), To funk, there's also good for hard rock to the limit. Note: Yngwie Malmsteen played on a Start with Seymour Duncan .... Iron Maiden also in part.

In short, do not expect a nuclear war, but it is a very good guitar for blues, rock, funk, and country also.

I love all the sounds of the Start ', is his strength: versatility. You can find different sounds moult, unlike a Les Paul. Cheers selectors 5 positions and the two tone knobs in particular. So on a deluxe, it's worse, even more different sounds. In short, good.

I put 8 / 10: Not enough output ... But still very good for the versatility of sounds.

    OVERALL OPINION

Before, I had a Peavey Predator AX ... Wow. So infamous that I just do not care for that color, a beautiful green surf, but its recycled cardboard. So, obviously, it changes. I will adapt an EMG HZ above, at least it will serve me something, Metallica: Live long and prosper.

I tried many guitars before I decide: Les Paul (Gibson and Epiphone), Jackson and Telecaster. The stratum is the one with which you can find the most different sounds, I took it for its adaptability to almost any style of music, but especially for grain standard, blues-rock sound.

A tip: Banish Worn Road-type models attractive to the eye. it's not worth much. Same for the Highway One series, a shame. A good mex 'the cap to the pole.

Editorial on Mex ': I'm still quite variable reluctance for something, finishes. Even Deluxe not worth one U.S. raps the stick too much, not enough polish. For loggers guitars, okay, ie. those they do not care about the game quality, ease of play That said, for the efficiency of exit, Mex, good vintage deluxe upgraded with Custom Shop 69 'Stratocaster an equivalent of U.S. Standard with a few differences. After it is, as one of my illustrious teachers employed this expression, "the ass pounding of flies." We must play five hours a day to really enjoy it, we must spend his life. Or you need a little ear. And do not push grandma into the nettles anyway, if I may: It's not for nothing that the mex 'are two times less expensive ...

You want a very good guitar factory, without breaking the bank, which covers a wide range of sounds and possibilities: Honestly, objectively for once, this is the guitar for you.
Start the U.S. maple neck: For sensitive fingers and followers of crystalline sounds. Perfect on Marshall, Fender or less on a rosewood fingerboard will be more suitable (except amp 57 'Twin Amp, but valid for all others).
Start 'mex'deluxe series or special: For small budgets, and need to upgrade the pickups in 98% of cases, if you do not want to end up with sounds cardboard. Oh, and think about dressing for Mex ...

Head to the strata of U.S. with maple fingerboard! And it really gets better with time, it's not a legend.

Verdict: 10/10...Hendrix, Clapton & Billy Gibbons mood ...

I use this guitar since July 2008, and I am very happy. This is my first guitar, and this is the one I wanted, for in doing a Cure "Pink Floyd" I've decided to take classes to learn to play guitar.

What's more, it is a Fender Stratocaster, a myth that many dream of owning one day. It is a pleasure to play on this beautiful instrument with clean lines.

If had to do again, I certainly would take the same, perhaps in another color.

    UTILIZATION

mache very nice, the guitar is light it feels good and that really makes you feel good and comfortable to play standing up ... I've always been more than fender gibson in sound but I must admit that I like to play with a fender on stage I feel more free ...
is a matter of taste I think ...

access to acute is not complicated even though it is not benefiting from the plate to screw the handle. but nothing very original for a Start ...

sound: a volume knob, 2 trebles, 5 position selector and it rolls!

    SOUNDS

its crystalline fenderien and super clean sound, crunch. Well ... in heavy distortion is not his field so it is better to abstain.

I play on Marshall so I do not benefit from clean up because it's not really their strong point ...

micro fever is a bit pointless it is difficult to exploit fully but ... it is not made for that!

    OVERALL OPINION

I love this guitar when I have more guitars Bourin, jackson, gibson ... that sticks more to my style ...
but then she is so nice to pick up that's the kind of guitar that is taken quickly to play 5 minutes in the evening so that was not the time ...
and what is more funny is that with this type of guitar I do not play at all the same style, one begins to quickly Jimy hendrix example, this casserole and groove! So I turn the blow of other influences this is pretty good for creating!

    a really great surprise
