Made in Korea in 2005 and that year only.
Mahogany body, flamed maple top rather pretty.
Vibrato nonblocking knives.
SA Prestige set neck, maple. Rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets medium. Radius of 12 ". Thicker than usual in IBANEZ.
2 humbuckers DIMARZIO / IBZ SA average output level. (Nothing to do with those of RG)
5-way switch from low to high:
1. Double handle series
2. Double handle parallel
3. Both pickups together.
4. the two inner coils of the microphones in parallel splitted
5. Double bridge in series.
Shielded electronic cavity by aluminum.
1 volume and 1 tone very progressive.
Workmanship. But the hardware is metal and oxide unremarkable.

UTILIZATION

The handle is a marvel. The strong point of the guitar.
The frets are well finished. They change the Jumbo and it is very nice. The small thickness of the handle makes the game "thumb over" very easy. Academic position poses no difficulties.
the absence of markings on key rout at first, but it comes very quickly.
The guitar is well balanced style superstrate. It is not too heavy.
Easy access to acute. The heel stuck gradually thickens to the body.

SOUNDS

For those who know the DIMARZIO / IBZ GR, it has nothing to do. there is more in the spirit PAF.
The are clear are credible. Jazzy sound or clear, it works. the tone is very effective and really usable.
The distos are happy, we can take for Santana or Gary Moore. go on easily if you push the harmonics to Satriani (frets legato, happiness). Metallica and consors is a bit tight. But it is not designed for that.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months
I am very pleasantly surprised by the microphones.
The handle is a killer.
It is a beautiful guitar, well finished. on the other hand screws and pins which oxidize, it is a shame.
It makes me want to seek SA1260 SA2160 or (the same with 2 singles, 1 double)
Purchased € 600 Used in superb condition.
At this price I would not hesitate. New it cost € 1600 I think. it was not given.

UTILIZATION

The handle is enjoyable trs, trs fast, flat. it's a prestige soft.
access to acute frets very easy .22
The sound is powerful while remaining precise.

SOUNDS

It should be my style of play, I play on Marsall dsl 401 with a multi purpose ToneLab.
Position 1 sounds fat and clear sound precise position 2, position 3 two double full fishing and the 5 position sends a very specific and serious harmonics present. micro ibanez custom Di Marzio.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two years.
It is well lgre balance and in addition it is very well finished and beautiful trs.
I have several guitars and this is my favorite.
I paid 950 euros price and quality level, I find it excellent.
