i bought this guitar for about $400 at a local store. i bought it with a roland cube30 also.

i love everything about this guitar. i bought it when i was 13 and this is my first electric guitar. i nvr have to tune it because it come with the grover tuners. it is a one peice body. great rythm and lead guitar. sounds great with distortion or gain. Washburn is great for any type of music. i highly recomend this guitar for anyone and is as good as a PRS. this is my second guitar from Washburn and i will continue to purchase Washburn idems.

Idem previous opinion.

bought new in gillou for € 599 with flight case.

UTILIZATION

Channel super soft, it slides alone.
Neither light nor heavy scratches, normal weight what.
Well some will not like the shape of the head.
Finish: absolutely no complaints. that nickel!
Ben for a sound, plugged into a high gain amp, it's what the world of metal!

SOUNDS

Micro 85 impec for clear sound
81 micro built for metal.
the EMG not give her a draft of all, you can type in any style, but good for the metal is stratospheric.

Very good sustain, because the through strings.

OVERALL OPINION

So I've had 10 days.
And I sell all the other guitars I had.

EExxxccelent value, equivalent to the models and 400nt of ltd dkmgt Jackson cut with microphones for sound quality and all that for less than the models listed above.

SOUNDS

Then that's what I wanted. It's very good in distortion and also in the clear, and yes, the 85 level does wonders potato, and gives her super hot blues Assé and very precise.
I play with a bandit 112 and is transformed from scratch and I have this, even the 85 major distortion accepts without flinching, and it is hot, and that we pass on the 81's is cold and hyper Bourin, in addition to the strings gives a through-EXCELLENT sustain, its lasts for hours if you do not loose the agreement. arrivetoujour is to find the sound you're looking scratches with this, I feared being metal block, and Ben is not very Polivalente.

in short, lots of potatoes, very precise, warm clear sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I have since yesterday, and I love the look in hell and if you want a big distortion sound as clear is the right thing. RAPORT the money is very good, and I put 9 / 10 because I could not try many other skyscrapers in the same style, so there is probably much better.

SOUNDS

The neck pickup comes a warm, round characteristic of SH1.
The highlight is probably the neck pickup is very vintage type with a pronounced grain resulting in distortion of the wonders.
I play on randall RG50TC, mainly rock, hard rock and metal.
The microphone is not very accurate but it suits me perfectly for what I know has played a good disto greasy with a grain that is similar to that of Mr Zakk Wylde.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had six months.
Bought 610 Euro in Pigalle.

I liked:
_ The strings that make through-gain sustain
_ The bridge pickup very vintage
_ The Easy adjustment with mechanical do not move a muscle.
_ The shape reminiscent of the Stratocaster but more aggressive.

I did not like:
_ The strings that come with.
_ The attitude of the seller (I had to negotiate too ^_^).
_ The neck pickup that sends too serious.

I would do probably the choice if I could because for that price I think it limit flight to compete ...

UTILIZATION

- The handle is flatter than a Les Paul, but still quite large. It is well in hand, but very flat appearance can go fast. It's not a freeway like Ibanez, but it's still very enjoyable (especially when you come from a Les Paul!)
- Access to treble is excellent ("24 cases they tell you !!!")
- It is light, well balanced it's velvet.

SOUNDS

For sound, it hurts. The 85 works in the serious well rounded. this lack of warmth in the clear, but with a bit of crunch, a drop of chorus ...
I think what interested me was the large saturations. There is happiness: both pickups together, a distortion, an equalizer dug in the media and we are in the black death thing thing that gives pleasure to let off steam! Teeth, always biting, precision (mean all the notes, it is not rough). Madre de dios, it's too good.
Metal is forever! rhythm, solo, taping, sweeping: the circus, I rediscovered the joys of the guitar.

My valbee roars of pleasure (because it's worth it).

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a week and it fills my expectations. Big sound, light, pleasant handle, held copy actually agree ...

For € 599 (incl taxes and hello by the way), what more. The case? oh yeah, like the case or the cover (must rant a bit). Anyway, that is happiness!

The shape and weight allow use above pleasant, whether sitting or standing .... It is somewhere between the fineness and weight of the strata Whereas the Les Paul.
Deja during a test without amplification, we realize the considerable sustain ...
Branch, one can obtain a large variety of sounds, notament through a combination of three selector positions and split double / single

The handle when it was a real treat to me ... love handles ultra-thin type ibanez go your way ... without being the thickness of the sleeves 50 and Paul's, was all the same volume and ... I find it rather pleasant ... It allows you to walk in complete ease and s'avre really nice

SOUNDS

Sound level is not bad at all ...

As a Gitari which varies quite a bit styles (funk, rock, pop, Hard Rock, Metal, jazz ...), I retouve with a guitar that allows me to address these styles without a hitch .... and it does really not flinch ... he likes a lot

I use it with a Peavey Studio 112 and / or a Marshall MG 15 CDR
For effects, it's my old multi effects AX1500G

The happiness it gives, whatever the practical effect sound has died, the potato, the expressiveness of the precision

Between clear sound, crunch Bluesy, Rock, Metal ... It turns out a formidable ffective
The neck pickup is fat at will while remaining precise and expressive
The bridge pickup has a potato in the death disto
All other combinations give results fatal

I love all these sounds, particularly the neck pickup in single overdrive with a little reverb and lots of ... "Little Wing" sounds a wonderful
For large distortion, my favorite is the bridge pickup, double, winning a 10

One word ... A wonder

Only drawback for my taste, at this level: Lack some carractère

OVERALL OPINION

I have this guitar for the past one and a half ... and I think I'm in love
What I like most: Polyval
What I do not like: the lack of small personnalitbr />
I tried masses of guitars before choosing the one I was looking for ... Polyval
For 630 euros, I have a guitar case and the quality that goes with ...
I find this great price quality ratio
I remake the chosen without hesitate

Ergonomics is good, weight is rpart (trslgre it), it remains in place strap, and does not sting the nose sitting. The shape is classic, some dtestent the shape of the head. I admit I'm not a fan, but you get used to.
Easily obtained many, many sounds. APRS, well, it is so we have a good amp ... But I think even on a homemade 5W transistors, it sounds the fire god. How was I'm not objective?

SOUNDS

The sound of scratching are cettes trs, trs varies ... Thanks to micro splittable, we're going from jazz to hard, to blues, old rock, and even a little bit of metal. However, mtalleux hard hair, go see the plutt ct of his sister's X50Pro ETB team with EMG active, sending in the hairy hairy ...
I play a Laney LC30 II, so the whole lamp. It allows you to fully express the small X50, which is having a field day on superb arpges cleans, even in the hard-raising hairs most dense. A real treat!
J'obtient little prs all I want (I felt like I rpter ...): the neck pickup is fat as you like, but not bad Dfine m me in double, when we want to make clean is trs, trs, trs pretty. The position does not intermdiaire figuration, it is well worth the rock rhythms and arpges a little saturated. The bridge pickup is also good trs, may not be as pleasant as the handle, but APRS is a matter of taste. Objectively (yes, yes, I assure you that I still am), there is good trs.
The sounds that I prfre (it goes without saying that I love them all, so no catgories "ones I dtest") are a little violent distos neck pickup version double, and small overdrive intermdiaire simple. But I RPET and over again, all the sounds of guitars that are exploitable and exploited.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for some months.
Trs is enjoyable to have such versatility thanks to the splittable pickups. The violin is really good, and finishes are trs neat! I like least ... it takes both dusts, it should be pampered ... Yeah, a big plus, it comes with the flight case, you know, the big hairy box! Yum!
I tried quite a few other models before choosing. I flash on the Telecaster Highway 1, which finally rvle CHRE more versatile and less. As I was looking for a main skyscraper, with which I could do a lot of hard, I finally map. C'tait its main competitor.
The report qualitprix is terrifying, as someone said to me has advised it would be sold twice that it would not be a scandal. To quote, again, my prdcesseur said that it is almost the flight competition, again, I confirm. 630 for a flight case hairy, full of indoor things, so the guitar worthy of the greatest violin, an electronic fantastic and beautiful finishes, this is the question o is the standard scam.
With the exprience I Rasht a batch of 150 to line the walls of my house and sell the surplus pice 2000.

Very nice violin, mine is more craire on the photo with a white blend very marked.
It is rather slight. I saw that some do not like the shape of the head, me neither, but in the same way I always find it unaesthetic for fenders ...
It has the taste bont have a fixed bridge.
The strings being distant in the middle of the handle (factory) they buzzent nowhere, which is a very good point. But no question nonetheless closer to the handle in the manner of ibanez prestige.

UTILIZATION

Ergonomics are good, but given the relative thickness of the handle, access to acute is OK but not as good as on a ibanez.
The patent of the handle tends to slow the velocity.
In conclusion of ergonomics: it throws visually, it does not hurt the back, but when it was in the hands is a clear mid-range guitar, the difference with a guitar that is worth double obvious. I have a dozen guitars at all price and I played guitar for 25 years, so if we do not veil the face is my opinion that for the price it is great (which is 8), but in absolute terms there are better or much better (it is between 5 and 7 according to your preferences).

SOUNDS

The sustain is fantastic, a condition not to get too close mics ropes because then we go back a classic and sustain one loses all interest ropes transversely the body of the guitar. I bought it new and the factory setting was perfect, I'd change but I came back. Tip: before changing anything take action and put them on paper to return if needed.

I currently play on my vox 15w 50th anniversary has become the second love of my life.

In neck pickup has a crystalline to an incredibly double slamming terrible. It actually feels like to transmit the sound of the guitar in a very very pure. I prefer when the microphones have a small round jazzy score (c why I put 8), but just the naivete of the sound is almost touching and its originality.
I have the same mic on another guitar and is the day and night, like how the violin and electronics also have a considerable influence. One possible reason is that the crystal-clear sound, 24 frets require, the microphone is closer to the bridge than on other guitars have 22 frets.
In bridge pickup has the second or third best saturation of my collection of guitars. The sound is very defined, it retains a small side of the neck pickup lens, the notes are all still all a distinct saturation levels, which adds difficulty when playing, because you have to raise his level of play on to Other guitars strung out single notes and you can easily take for Hendrix on it you can not cheat and I therefore put 10.

OVERALL OPINION

I for one year. I made my guitar to study because it does not forgive any mistakes.
I judge the quality / price very good.
Still I do not know if I would do this choice because I bought too much guitar lately and I preferred a fixed number ultimately they are all of high quality and closer to my tastes. It is not playing 5 minutes in a store you can get an idea and I may be a little too quickly seduced.
(Incidentally, and not criticize others opinion, my humble experience is that it takes time to understand a guitar, at least one year and playing every day).
But now that I have is out of question to part with it because it is a very attractive guitar.

It feels comfortable playing trs: the handle is no end or wide, he slips a lot (too much, I do not like), achieves Most recent internship frets no problem. Again, 9.

SOUNDS

This guitar is made for what I play: pop / rock, rock, punk, punk rock, hard rock, heavy metal. This gives everything, sounds perfectly. Of course, his area of prdilection remains the "heavy rock", and two Seymour envoieny premium sound just perfect. It is standard to play it, especially when you have a good amp that (I play on a small all-tube Laney Lc15r forming a duo with my Washburn suprme). The sound is warm, fat enough (without being too, the guitar is kind, but still flexible) and can therefore, with the bridge pickup, to pass on all the big names in hard rock (Led Zep, Guns AC / DC ...) The neck pickup is under potato, but is standard for blues rock and softer rock. In splitter, one approaches the sound of Fender (there is still quite far away, scratched with a mahogany body / table Saddle will ring forever as one tlcaster)
last point about the micro acute: it great cash saturation standards, t I surprised! If you play a lot of mtal has certainly not be the most suitable but if you actually would do frquemment, a slap!
I put 10: the "evidence" his / versatility / a rsultat prices reach unheard of.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two months and it finally allows me to play with her all the music I like, keeping the characters. Report quality unbeatable price, even new (I paid mine 300 euros, on the occasion of crazy). To find more, we must triple the budget, and buy a Les Paul standard (and again, you may take some time to feel the diffrence that is far from being standard level of its quality) . The question concerning the choice again does not even arise. 10/10

Special mention for the high quality finish with cream colored thread around the body and along the handle, and no marking on the top of the handle. It really classes.

SOUNDS

I play metal so it is perfect for me. I play with a foot zoom G7.1ut a lamp. the magic trio mahogany emg and lamp worked wonders. Good sound with saturated fat and 81 with the hot 85.

OVERALL OPINION

I have for almost a year and I'm not ready to change it.
I wanted a good metal scraper, let me explain, a guitar made in a high-end wood and not a wooden crate, the active pickups, no floyd rose, and look cool.
I hesitated a lot between models at the beginning NH, 400 M of LTD, which are quite expensive (800 euros) and I heard about the X50 pro emg. I adopted and I regret it. A scraper made in Korea, with an excellent finish for that price, there is no comparison. The quality / price washburn in general is excellent.

Nice simple shred guitar

Washburn is an American guitar company but more and more of their lineup is made overseas now. They were pretty popular about 10 year ago but nowadays you do not see many people playing them. They had some designs that I liked very much back in the day. They also had many big name signature models for big name artists for a period of time. This is my kind of shred guitar. They had some designs that I liked very much back in the day. They also had many big name signature models for big name artists for a period of time. This is my kind of shred guitar. The specs are a bit different than what you would get on most shred guitars. The guitar has a mahogany body and neck opposed to alder and maple like you would find on normal shred guitars. The neck construction is a set neck with a very smooth heel so playability is great all the way up and down the neck. There are no inlays apart from an X on the 12th fret so that gives the fretboard a very clean look. It has an EMG 81 in the bridge and an 85 in the neck a classic combination which I think is better than the 81 and 60 combination. The guitar is a hardtail bridge. A shred guitar with a hardtail bridge is pretty rare nowadays. It has a master volume and master tone with a 3 way pickup selector.

UTILIZATION

The neck on this guitar is not super thin. The neck has a nice size to it so it can really fit your hand. The fretboard has a nice and flat radius with the jumbo frets. This combination means you can really get a slammed action on the guitar. The neck joint is beveled very nicely and is close to what you would get with a neck through guitar. The controls are kind of in an odd place. They are very far out of the way so it may be difficult for you do to volume swells on this guitar. The hardtail bridge means you can have the ultimate in tuning stability and you can change tunings easily without having to break out every allen wrench in your tool box.

SOUNDS

This guitar has a real beefy sound with the EMG pickups mixed with the mahogany body. The EMG's sound great too. I like to put the 85 in the bridge. The 85 gives a bit thicker sound then the 81 so when it is in the bridge position on a guitar like this the tone is crushing. The 81 is not great in the neck position though. With the 81 in the bridge you get your traditional high end 81 sound. It gives nice clarity and bite although it does not sound as huge at the 85 in the bridge. If you want even more crushing tone you can do the 18v mod to the EMG's. With the 18v mod you run the EMG pickups on two 9v batteries instead of just one. This gives you more headroom over all and more clarity. It will make your clean tones sound better too by giving them a more natural organic quality. This guitar is also available with passive Seymour Duncan pickups.

OVERALL OPINION

This is a great mid level shred guitar. With the EMG pickups you get all the high end tone you would expect from a guitar twice as expensive. You can get these guitars for less than 300 dollars now a days and that is great bang for the buck. With EMG pickups thats 200 dollars of hardware right there from the factory. If you see one of these guitars for sale you should really check it out. These guitars play and sound great for the price.

SOUNDS

This guitar is perfect for my style of music, however as I play in Drop C, I changed the strings for dessuite of 11.52, and then there is PERFECT.
Clearly the sound is not 100% nickel, but it happens anyway (chorus and reverb, with the microphone 85, is happiness)
And then saturated, there is his domain! The sound is just perfect, especially not a draft.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 months now and I'm not ready to part with it. This guitar is pure genius, both in plain as saturated, it suits me perfectly. The EMG 81/85, the string ties, 24cases ...

Having paid only 500euros new, I found it easily worth 800!

If it were to do again, I would do without this choice problem so this is a magical guitar.

Go for it!

Regarding the handle, it is really very pleasing. The varnish is not too late nor too pais, hand glides perfectly. Moreover it is not too pais, you're really between a shovel handle type and handle gibson ibanez flat type that is to say that feels really good.

I do not particularly like the ibanez neck which I find too late, I do not like that feeling of having a Chinese restaurant baton hands, so it suits me perfectly round.

In terms of ergonomics has anything wrong, the CASC is acute without worry, the weight is quite pleasant. For on between my Kramer Imperial and Washburn are anyway 5 kg of diffrence and it feels good ^^!!! The SC form approaches a stratocaster but lightly nicer to the extent that the indentation is more moves away and gives you access without any worry of the handle 24 cases

For sound, nothing wrong there again, since the two pickups seymour duncan allows you a great range of sound, also helping push pull. In short it's almost plug and play.

SOUNDS

So it is a very versatile guitar. Of course that said flexible and said good everywhere nowhere good. Let me explain if you want a metal it would be better for you than you turn to the X50 pro FE.

But otherwise the rest is the top. All rock riffs typ Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and ACDC co so alone!

I played on a roland microcube at home or live in my plugger zoom G9 and it sounds really good. As I repeated plugger in a JCM800 or Tiny Terror and the AC sends really good. She has a true grain, you can address a lot of style, although in my opinion it really provides all the English rock. Frankly the lil sound has the Artic Monkeys, although I do not have a telecaster it passes very well.

Short guitar really great, with clean sounds very warm and very distos rock. We revert to the metal even though the neck pickup cash them very well

OVERALL OPINION

Use for 2 months! I'm in love, nothing to say you go ahead and tell me the news. I had a 300 and it has held very frankly the comparison without any concern with the strato custom shop one of my friends!

So let's go
