I am quite surprised that no one is still left to review this wonderful compressor. I think I've had it almost 9 months is I do not regret this purchase! In general all the opinions are positive to the point where you wonder if we should not all be equipped with Behringer ;-) but now believe my word is simply a marvel and a price (even in stereo) very low given the quality of the machine. on the other hand universe Techno, Rap music asking big muscles ... I think you can go your way because it seems to me that the policy of this compressor is cool. Acoustic music, ambient electronica, rock, jazz will find here I think an ideal companion. I think you can go your way because it seems to me that the policy of this compressor is cool. Acoustic music, ambient electronica, rock, jazz will find here I think an ideal companion. I am electro "cool", down tempo, ambient and rock on a project basis (but not techno, trance ...) with rhythmic asking for air as opposed to pumping effect, I find great, but that does not fit my world. Brief ....

UTILIZATION

Operation is very simple. At first, the lack of accurate scale with the reduced number of Db was missing. But I soon got used to adjust the ear and looking as the entry level into the converter (Universal Audio 2192). It is not a LN1176 cuts but I mainly bought this based compressor for use in mix and a few instruments. On Drums is good but I think it is generally preferred as I do, its a muscular type or Distressor LN1176. But for most music acoutique or percussion sound is crazy. I thought Tg1 but knowing also that it is much marked the end of the sonic signature LTD-2 seems better (though so different). For me, the LTD-2 comes very highly of a compressor in the SSL mix behavior but with the sound of a Neve 33609 (although SSL is not working at all as the LTD-2 but the impression that I care). Please note the price is very close to the stereo brands. The real competitor is the vintage design. The vintage design did not I find this sound like the Neve LTD-2 but I have not comparrer simultaneously on the same systhème listening.

SOUND QUALITY

Compression is very musical.je regrets that the Bypass is a time of réhadaptation after her engagement. Auto or a second time to release a little longer and a little faster would be unpleasant. But then I always find what I want without feeling cramped. Applying general-4dB to 6dB max mix. Electro on drums (note I said that I do not type electro techno) I push easily-10dB but it depends on many things (évidament. ..)

OVERALL OPINION

This is the best quality / price ratio for a compressor Mix. Instruments for any individual depends on your style in a production studio it seems to me indispensable. In a home studio to try to fit your besoins.Je'll put on my site with sound clips notament the adder SU1 vintage design that also incorporates the components of Ches Neve (especially transformer) and I use Chandler Limited TG2 also to finalize the mix ... further explanation by mail if you like, or on my website
