stompboxjon's review"I have 3 pairs"

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 Ohms
The Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO is a pair of closed circumaural headphones that are designed to be used in the studio to mix music with. The first thing that I noticed with the DT 770 PRO is how comfortable they are, I have had these on my head for over 5 hours straight before and couldn’t even tell they were on my head at all. They can be easily adjusted to fit your head size and the ear cup cushioning is very soft and feels nice around your ears. The cost of these headphones is spot on with the quality they provide. I would choose these headphones over any other headphone monitors in this price range any day. The DT 770 PRO has a single sided cable so you don’t have to worry about having two cables running down (but sometimes that can get awkward depending on how you are sitting because you will notice one side is pulling down or a little heavier than the other size is).
The bass in the DT 770 PRO is amazing; it is really clean with no distortion. I was so happy when I heard some of our music in these headphones because I realized this is exactly how I wanted our listeners to hear our music. The mids fill out and sit well in the DT 770 PRO and the highs are clean and sharp but not to piercing on the ear.
The frequency response is 5 Hz to 35 kHz and the impedance is 250 ohms. The cable that comes with the DT 770 PRO can be stretched out to about 10 feet long which is a great length for studio use. The DT 770 PRO do not come with a case or a soft pouch for them though, I just use a different pouch with them from a cheaper pair of headphones. I have been using these for 4 years now and I will never get rid of them. I just actually bought my 3rd pair this past April.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 Ohms
I use these things everywhere. In the studio, in the airplane, on the stage, on the go. Everywhere. 3 years ago I was in the market for a really nice pair of reference headphones that wouldn't break the bank. I read tons of reviews. Spent over a month finding the perfect pair. I finally settled on these. They sound very balanced on most everything. The comfort is bar none. I use them for checking mixes, casual listening, and monitoring in all situations. Clarity is great as well as bass response. Sound cancelling as well is good. They fare better at cancelling ambient noise though. If someone is yelling at you then they won't be of too much use. If you're in a car or on a plane, they do a good job of filtering that stuff out. These headphones are 80 ohms so they benefit from an amp of some kind. It's not a must, but it surely helps.

I have beat the living daylights out of these. Dropped them at least 50 times. Got them partially wet. The leather on the head padding is still holding on and despite my dirtying up the ear pads to a brownish hue, they remain well intact. I probably use these at least 2 hours a day. The speakers are still holding on fine. I will probably have to replace the padding before I scrap these because they still sound so darn good. At the price point they are a seriously scary value. The precision and quality is amazing. In the sub $300 range they are king. I've tried a lot of the competitors. The DT770 pro is on another level. When they finally kick the can, I'll likely buy another pair. I'm always wanting to try something new but these are so good that i don't think I need to.

I've been using them for three months and I've had no problems. The headband seems easily breakable at the hinges of the earcups.

I like most of all the comfort: it's an important point if you want to use them several hours straight. The response is not totally linear but it's good enough.

I had only used Sony headphones and I was very satisfied with them but I wanted semi-closed headphones for recording so I bought these. I use them for different applications like premixing or CD listening.

These headphones are sold at a moderate price and they are much cheaper than high-end hi-fi headphones.

To keep it short: these are good headphones.

I have been using these headphones for about 1 year now. I went into a music store looking to pick up another pair of Sennheiser HD's, but I saw a pair of these out on demo and took a listen. They sound Great! While you can never really get a true feel for the bass with any headphones, this pair comes a lot closer to the sensation. The whole frequency range seems very even and clear, and doesnt seem to break up at higher volumes.

Perhaps the best feature that these headphones offer is the comfort of wearing them. I sometimes have sessions where I have to wear headphones for 8 hours at a time, and every other pair I've used get seriously annoying and give me a headache. But these are so well padded that it's like wearing a pillow - even though your ears are still fully enclosed. There's very little ear fatigue, and you don't get the persistent feeling of pressure on the side of your head that you get with extended use of other headphones.

They also provide excellent isolation, so I like to give these to vocalists singing in a booth, since there's going to be very little bleed into the mic. The other benefit is obviously that just using these to listen to music is quite nice, because it cuts the background noise by a lot. It also comes with a 1/4" adapter which allows you to plug in to audio hardware, and a very long cord. The cord is not coiled, which I appreciate, as those tend to get all snagged up. They are somewhat pricey, but definitely worth the money.

The only downside that occurs to me is that they are rather bulky - but who cares when they sound this good and they're this comfortable. These are my favorite headphones. They sound better and are more comfortable than the competitors like Sony and Sennheiser. I would absolutely buy them again, and I plan on getting another pair.

Excellent headphone for first use ... I prefer the AKG headphones which seems more junk for the same price, which was already broken fairly quickly without any reason (left side / wire loose contact

I use these headphones for monitoring only, check mix and master. For listening is the guilty pleasure (all sounds good, even too much) and for listening, it really is to be immersed in the sound. Sometimes I just like to feel the sound spread throughout the room, also mean that its sound can be.

Coating, not terrible, it's a little fleece jacket and teddy, this coating is already ugly and want hot. But this is not a problem, we do not care and it's not to spend hours here.

By against-level meeting on the head is great at the moment! I like, it is not oppressive and nervous as the AKG

The headphone looks pretty solid, even if one or two pieces seem fragile (the frame that supports the headset), but it looks to be a solid or metallic material, so you should be fine.
I just have a little fear for son over earphones that are conspicuous and can be fragile in the future.

I do not know if it is detachable but the coating on the handle of the headphone is.

We'll see degradation in the edit of this post, if degradation occurs there.

Pleasantly surprised by this council chosen from a store clerk (I was tired of reading conflicting opinions on a lot of headphone on headphone net.

The headphones are ultra, ultra, ultra well insulated! WOW

There is a good balance

on the other hand I find the sound a bit too "on modern fashion in 2000" as my speakers Tannoy Reveal: its hot, but mostly bass and treble, not enough consistent mids and crunchy as I like (it is rather fine and soft in mediums).

The bass is dry, and that's what I wanted, not big flattering low as * $$ ù $$ headphones ala Dr. Dre Beats ... that are almost as expensive and are just putassiers moldy gadgets.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 Ohms
This makes 3 years that I use (I had paid € 134 at the time)
I did not have headphones "pro" before. But now I have a Sony MDR 7506 and Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro. The Sony MDR 7506, on which the voice emerges more, is also closed, but it is less comfortable (on prolonged use, it hurts the ears).
What I like most is the comfort and sturdiness. There is no particular fault. Some would say "lack" at the bottom of the spectrum. If you really want to feel the bass should try other models that descend lower (Ultrasone), or just take a box and listen to the sound on monitors. nothing bothers me compared to the purchase price.

headphone singer when making voice or when simply listening.
Very nice and comfortable headphone.
I listen to all styles of music.
Summer is true that he has a hot little ears but otherwise the top on comfort.

Solid headphone, I have not broken and it's been almost 3 years since I use it intensely.
The connection is not detachable, however you can change the cable once removed.
His appearance was not degraded or its performance.

The audio quality is good but the stereo image is worse than the DT 990 PRO I own for that matter. Bass are not very present but it is not what I'm looking for with this headset.
The noise level is correct.
As for insulation, reasonable volume, I hear the outside noise. As soon as the volume increases, people can hear my music. On this insulation is a closed headphone but it is not as insulating a Sennheiser HD25

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 Ohms
I use this headset for over 5 years. I've tested it, most headphone "references". I have several beyerdynamic. I like this headphone for its isolation and its dynamics. This is a good quality / price ratio.

I use this headset for several years for the sound, mixing (in some cases), and during rehearsals. IT is not too tight head, and pads are nice. However, being a closed headphone, it tends to warm your ears after several hours of listening.

The headphone is solidly built and has a good life. In addition, I have not seen degradation over time.

The overall sound quality is good. However, this is not a neutral headphones. It has a bump in the extreme bass and a dip in the lower midrange. In addition, it is not highly accurate in the upper mid-range, but still retains the acute (handy for reverb tails). It has a very good insulation, allowing use in a noisy environment, or for the sound because there is little repisse.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 Ohms
I use it for 1 year, my first studio headphones, I love its comfort, quality. The quality / price ratio is perfect. However, requires a sound somewhat correct card (250ohms) to have a good sound level.

I remake this choice and recommends widely

What do you use this headset (sound recording, mixing, mastering, live, studio ...)?
I use it for the composition on ableton, also to listen to sets and adjust before online post. But use home studio, so comfort is foolproof, it is very large, clearly not nomadic or for Djaying.

Its coatings are they nice?

Yes, you can keep many hours on the head without being embarrassed, like a little hot but not excessive, however.

What music do you listen to?
Perfect for the goth / EBM, I also listen to metal, symphonic metal, trance, the hardtek, hardcore, frenchcore.Bon made on the minimum as

Fits there easily to your head and your ears?
Carefree and super comfortable

Do you find it tiring during extended wear (headband too tight, holding warm ear?
Atria take a little warm after de4/5heures

The headphone you seem weak or strong?
Rather strong, but inflexible and cumbersome to the studio only to me

He has a detachable connection?
Apart Jack 6.5 screw, no.

Its appearance or performance have they deteriorated over time?

The audio quality of the headphones you she looks good (serious overall balance, middle, treble, stereo)?
She is very good, clear, precise, headphone down low in frequency and do not move on the treble either. Mediums are in their place, stereo and perfect, however, if the detail and clarity of the sound will be appreciated, bass a bit "dry" when listening to low quality (less than 320) we regret. Perso for the mix, I have a HD 25. It saturates when I'm on the bottom level of a headphone scarlett 2I4.

Bon.rien very wrong noise.

The insulation is perfect, we hear a little outside the headphone but the insulation is very good

BlackTurtle's review (This content has been automatically translated from French)" Great"

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 Ohms
I use it for 1year and a half and I'm not ready to part with. The value for money is great. The quality is really great.

I use this keg for everything. For mixing but also to just listen to music. It is neutral and very well soundproofed. The rigid foams in time and did not even feel. It is not too heavy so it goes. Only downside, it is really ugly.

That strength has been demonstrated by several falls. The cable is firmly rooted in the headphone and seems very solid. It is ugly but it is.

He faithfully transmits music. No exaggeration, it is flat as I want.
