«  Excellent Virtual Expander Analog »

Published on 05/13/11 at 06:31
10voix polyphony, no keyboard.
2 x MIDI IN
as well as audio input for the vocoder
Integrated basic effects like chorus and delay sometimes useful
Arpeggiator and a nice memory for motion control

UTILIZATION

very simple for editing sound as an analogue of yesteryear, the face buttons is great broad, user-friendly interface.
Unfortunately, however, some features remain hidden and requires a combination of keys with shift.

SOUNDS

I have it and I keep it in the genus "almost" analog is perfect and has its own grain and full of beautiful typed sheets.
no sounds realistic fortunately, it is only analogous to the creation and evocation. Sounds powerful and scalable. perfect for all styles electronica, experimental, ambient, space or pop.

OVERALL OPINION

even if he has aged a bit, there is what Roland does best - Synthesizers
remember the HS Juno Jupiter and other ... System 100 and 700! a great CV anyway.
this one is virtual analog, among the first that were manufactured in the late 90 '
