2: +: the effect (echo / loop and flanger) function prcis TAP but not enough for my taste, the bpm (exactly 90%) the size of the plates, the search for MP3 playback but MP3 files is not enough dvelopper for my taste. slot-in loading: P
the -: effects useless (almost) like the drag-s, not enough precision in gnral for MP3 files, after some months one of them (while silent new) has started a "bugger" at the snap disc when the disc he released j'jecte but the engine continued to turn to eject him out s'arrte and then starts to turn the other way then it's pretty s'arrte gnan in evening.
qualitprix the report is good and trs rare on this type of product (300 euro on new SONOVENT)

Did you try many other models before getting this one? These are my first CD player (though I had been loaned to Pioneer CDJ 100, and I have not all hung), but before I had a pair of Numark TT200.

What thing do you like most/least about it?
For more: Almost all the effects are nickel plated, can really make a lot of things with these decks.
At least: Maybe the design of the plate, but hey, it's not 'cause there is not very nice deck that we will not choose it, especially this one with the many quality

What is your opinion about the value for the price? So I'm leaving for my art got to 350 the pair, and there is really great quality / price ratio, especially that Denon is not the stew, so I personally recommend it to all who want DJ start and certainly do not want this to ruin.

I used two since then about 8 months (bought a friend who had last year).

Pioneer CDJ800 CDJ900 I try CDJ2000, Denon DNS1000, DNS1200, DNS3700.
So I did not try other brands as Pioneer and Denon (which are apparently the reference).
Level of use:

The pros: The very specific on pitch bend buttons, tags, mp3, fast reliability dial to search for music. Very useful from the Pioneer CDJ800: 2-line screen, which lets you see the time and the track at the same time (personally I find it a bit Gnant have to switch from text mode at time 2 times by music during an evening!)

The -: The jog unusable bend (okay, there are pitch bend buttons), MP3 VBR reading: we must think convert mp3 VBR CBR, if not platinum gre bad sound (not put the time remain, impossible to hit the pitch at the bend, you can not cue session can (once stopped, it must qq platinum seconds to reload the music). The unnecessary: Effects: Personally, I use the effects on my table that I think are better grs; The scratch: what is the intrt scratch jog on a 8cm diameter? I personally do not use it, but it is true that the sound from scratch is rather beautiful. (Amateur scratch, go DNS3700 is standard).

The pros:

- The size: very small, super portable, super convenient (+ for mobile disco).

In terms of quality price, I did not know better from his replaceable denon DNS1200 which includes more port Ethernet, USB, and a pitch or 0.02% 0.05% (against 0.1% for DNS1000) but hey same 0.1% has put a bit of time to DCAL.

With exprience with my current budget, I REFERRED Obviously this choice, but if I had more money put in the plates, I think that certainly I will pioneer a poorer quality price but when that is even more intuitive and much easier to mix (more specific on more attending (even a bit too))

Pros:

Platinum is the ideal for young DJ who enter the profession. It lies just below the professional turntables. For those receiving more in this area, this deck they are not destiny. Turn to the Denon DN-S3700 or Pioneer.

Pros: The hot start, ease of use, the pitch that goes up to approximately 100 per 100, slipmats, its small size.

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? I would do without hesitation that choice as a first decks are ideal for beginners to art what the mix, but otherwise no longer an "apprentice dj" I tend to move towards 400 or cdj Pioneer 800 which seems more "pro".

I've been using two pieces for about eight months (I bought them from a friend who had bought them one year before).

I also tried out Pioneer CDJ800, CDJ900, CDJ2000 and Denon DNS1000, DNS1200, DNS3700.
I only tried Pioneer and Denon (which seem to be the reference).

Use:

Pros: very precise pitch bend buttons, tags, mp3, fast, reliable, music search rotary knob.

Cons: jog cannot be used for bends (which isn't too bad thanks to the pitch bend knobs), VBR mp3 files must be converted into CBR mp3 since the unit doesn't like them (no time hold, pitch/bend not adjustable, no repeated multiple Cue. Finally: only cons you can avoid...

Useless: effects (I prefer the my mixer's effects) and scratch (scratching with a 3" jog is no fun). Personally I don't use it although the scratch sound is rather good. (scratch fans: give the DNS3700 a try).

There's a noticeable difference with Pioneer products: the Cue and Play buttons move several mm instead of less than 1 mm on the Pioneers... it's all a matter of habit (I personally prefer the Pioneer solution).

Other features:

Pros:
- The slipmats (are fun).
- Dimensions: very compact, easily transportable, extremely convenient (+ for mobile applications).
Cons:
- Dimensions: looks like an unprofessional toy.
- Slipmats: same comment (but they are fun).

As far as I know, no other product can beat this regarding value for money, except for its successor, the Denon DNS1200, which adds Ethernet and usb ports, pitch shift @ 0.02% or 0.05% (0.1% on the DNS1000).

Based on my experience and considering my current budget, of course I would buy it again. If I had more money, I would probably go for a Pioneer, even although the value for money is not that good, the use is more intuitive and mixing is much easier (with more precision).
