- I use them for 2 weeks.
- What I love most: the management of the USB that I find great! Nickel and it works immediately. the disc or the key is tested or not, and it works very well.
The fonctino slip is enormous ... the possibilities are increased tenfold, and when you know its title, it becomes super interesting to tickle a little runway.
Otherwise the self loops walk really well too. Quantize function is simply bluffing .... ok now everyone will make a perfect loop but it is true that this is a great help ... good requires that the file is parsed by Rekordbox on the other hand.
Otherwise the screen visibility is sufficient I think. It takes a lot of CDJ1000: beaches pitch, the ability to change the point of entry and exit loop, but also a wave display small enough to see the look of the piece.
Otherwise what I like least: The speed of the turntable with cd ... is the horror ... Much on this one Pioneer has put the package on the USB which is a wonderful success ... cons from the cd has changed or not but I know it is very long .... when changing track, you must wait at least 5 seconds before the PEC and is available in full veeeeeery long mix. (For cons with USB is super fast, or not analyzed)
I played on cdj2000 but I can not remember what was their speed in cd ... I think that is longer than the CDJ1000 but should be confirmed.
- I tried quite a few models so: denon dns-1000, dns3500 Pioneer CDJ800, CDJ1000, CDJ400, cdj200, cdj2000
- The value for money is certainly a little expensive but I find it quite ... because for me the 900 is placed above the 1000. Many will say otherwise but certainly when you see the quality of management usb ... it's really hard. And as stated above, the 900 takes a lot of options in the 1000 (800MK2 things that did not) so for me, cdj900 has many more improvements over a CDJ800 mk2, the 2000 n 'has over the 1000 mk3. (I do not know if I'm making myself clear)
To be played on the 2000 and the 900, I think the 2000 is neither more nor less than 1000MK3 with usb (which is huge I remember) and some nice options for ergonomics, for the 900 is a cons mixture and 800MK2 1000MK3 with usb and function which is a novelty underwear. After .. has to see the speed reading cd on the 2000 ... because I do not remember, is currently the only negative point of 900.
- Yes I would do this choice because it is nevertheless a revolutionary platinum. It provides excellent management usb, super fast and everything works nickel. It also allows to control an app but I have not tested it yet and I would use it because if I took it to no longer take the mac.
Otherwise cdj2000 is great too but too expensive for my taste. Maybe I should take it later if the cd is faster but for now the 900 has everything I want (except hot cue ... but after you mix it with or without a question of technique )
Edit: Since the last update, the titles on CD loading is much faster! A true happiness. Well it's a bit slower than a 1000 or 2000, but it's faster than before!
