AXL Guitars presents the Medway Special 1GN, a tube combo amplifier for guitars.
Featuring a Celestion speaker and premium pre-tested tubes, the Medway Special was designed (according to AXL) to give you a true rock ‘n’ roll tone.
The Medway Special 1GN has 18 watts RMS of tube power and features the G12M 12" Celestion speaker which gives this amplifier its powerful, wide sound and mid-range punch for both the stage and studio. It also features Accutronics spring reverb, 3-band EQ, footswitch jack, effects send and return and a 1/4" speaker out.
By pushing the gain slightly, this amp is said to achieve the warm tube crunch that so many player looks for. It also has a distinctive deep green tolex with a basket-weave style grille cloth that appeals to contemporary players and vintage enthusiasts.
