Silver face Twin Reverb, 1974, bought used and revised Retube.
Powerful: 100 watts true but I did tweak (adding a toggle switch Surle back) to use only half of its power, ample by repeating or gig.
2 inputs, reverb and tremolo efftes operable from a pedal.

UTILIZATION

A manual? what a joke!
The sound is superb, no need to tweak the settings for a long time to notice.
For cons, I find that the best results are obtained using the master thoroughly, much like the bypass.
The boost, pulling the button gives master by overflow presence and aggressiveness.
the tone controls are super efficient, when we put them all to zero, no sound!
The switch that reduces the output power allows me to get a good seed without the volume is too powerful.
Live or with my pedal board (8 pedals) the sound is excellent.
The overall sound can vary the HP board: for example, JBL sound more aggressive than Fender (Rola) that fit my model.

SOUNDS

Very versatile amp perfectly at ease in all styles: jazz, blues, rock, metal etc. ....
I use it with humbuckers and single pickups, I even plugged my acoustic / electric and results were very surprising.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for almost 25 years with its original tubes.
I tried many tubes and transistor models, vintage and modern, the Twin Reverb is incomparable and timeless.
Extrêmememt solid construction, mine fell several times without damage.
As it weighs against the weight of a dead donkey, not ideal for lugging repeating.
