Value For Money : Excellent
<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">This is a 60W amp any lamp rather hefty avecquatres ECC83 and two EL34 pramp in power. Two spare channel equalization has low, mid, aige, plus a gain knob for channel 2. one volume for the effects loop, a reverbaccutronicspar per channel and a master volume. ON / OFF and Stand By.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Of classical architecture on the back plug to connect an extension cab in 16 Ohms, a record for the internal speakers, a control prsence, a switch for effects loops, a loop parallle, a loop series. a DIN plug, plug.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">to wake the beast, two speakers Celestion Heritage 12 &#39;inch and a footswitch for both channels, but no control of reverb, too bad.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Rugged and well made, the finish is nickel, Marshallian classical style, black, sober, not the look I prefer, but hey, the image is written into the collective memory.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">The quality English, accusing it pays 35 kg on the scale, not really the amp you love lugging repeated in if you are a foot (not recommended unless really be a superman).</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Despite his 12 years mine is in a state almost new, limited release of the store. not a knob spitting, no sizzling, long live the "old" amp!</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">The JCM 602 amp is a little oblivion stuck between the legendary JCM 800 and dung that was the JCM 900 (no offense to its owners happy, more power to them ...)</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">It should be recalled that the 600 issue, eyeing more towards the 800 and the 900 organic distortion and power problems and distortion rather "cold".</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">the architecture of the old circuit reminder JTM 60 (on paper is the same two) but if the 600 has a distal most "modern" know less and Fuzzy "distortion", the channel is clear not at the JTM series, far from it. mostly 30 and its 6L6 power.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">for sound, we will come back ...</span> </div>

UTILIZATION

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Well, as said above, it is a 60W lamp while so for use in an apartment, it&#39;s dead .... and useless. although not impossible because the Master can play a small volume, but it does not benefit or harm from a bluesy crunch thick and wish Labonne or a distortion of the Guns is capable of dlivrer bte .</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">The sound is pokey, not his cup of tea ....</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">a reasonable volume (4 to the Master is already very strong) that the receiver wakes up and brings all that we are entitled to expect from a marshall ... attention, big big sound!</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">a block, I know, I had my windows is ... lol</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">The settings are simple with more than two neurons, no surprise that the cot you are on familiar ground. Personally, I appreciate that each channel has its equalization (a change of my JTM 30).</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">The handy thing is the reverb CONTRL indpendant spar with, the less is not activated via the footswitch .... :-(</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">To repeat and concert, the recess is its course, the amp is expressed completely, it is for a. well just make sure you own a car and we do not live on the 6th with no elevator. if not, what is bousillle back ... lol</span> </div>

SOUNDS

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">good essay with four shovels of the house. an SG faded, a tokai firebird, rivira a quip with a pair of classic 57 and a Danish pro.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Clearly the couple dano pro / JCM 600 is a little off topic, the brilliance of the guitar does not break the JTM commeavec more tuft darker too. Not my prefried although a little fiddling in the equation, we get a sound very nice in stew with the crunch. but clearly, there&#39;s more.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">With the SG, we enter the heart of the matter. IMMEDIATE big sound. plain it&#39;s not bad, although a clear trend crunch if you increase the volume too, but if you hand lgre, a password.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">crunch in / ODc&#39;est ... YUM !.... friends seventies Stones, AC / DC Welcome to the club. Brown sugar is in your living room. it&#39;s round, it&#39;s hot, it&#39;s good.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">you push the gain block, and zouuuu, the guns, pieces of angry Led Zep, the grain is the sound is boiling hot, a bit runny, filled the space and lead to super ... no pedals or devices ....</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">With the Firebird is substantially same, although the color tone is more blues, more southern rock, ZZ Top, Molly Hatchet, Black Crowes ... no need to draw you a picture!</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">For rivira, I am less a fan ... say it produces less than the JTM that corresponds better. Sounds clear and slightly crunchy, even if they are very good, does not compete with the JTM in terms of dynamics and clarity and distortion drool too with 57 for my taste.</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">In short, you will understand, this amp meets your guitar and the sounds n&#39;uniformise not it meets the grain of your shovel.
</span> </div>

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">APRS, of course, we can all play with but I think it is not clear that the sound is best expressed, some fender are much better (not even the mythical oblivion as my field 25SE ). His thing is he is rather "I send the ball far ahead", ideal for rock (very) tough to burn well ... not hard to do in the lace or valuable, to s&#39;adresseplus arosmith fan of smiths that I have ... t clear enough?</span> </div>

OVERALL OPINION

<div> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">stumbled upon a flea market a bargain price concurrency (the price of a valve junior), I had no great need of this amp, my old JTM30 filling me completely (the amp in my life &#39;s is he and not another .... <img class="smiley" src="https://fr.audiofanzine.com/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt="wink" /> ), But the occasion was the thief and as the canal is lovely drive coupled with the SG and Firebird, I&#39;ll kindly keep me warm.
To my surprise and contrary to what&#39;s usually said, the JTM 60 circuit does not sound as vintage as the 30, has not even had much to do. The clean channel is darker, less shiny and less fuzzy distortion. On the gain block 30 is obtained roughly the sound has a hendrix monterey, with 600 (and thus the 60 plans of APRS) is directly in Slash Guns & Roses ... power!
All this to say that in seeking well and with any luck, we are not forced to play these days on dung as the MG series marshall home or Berhinger soufreuteux.
So scratch too young fortune, the flea Chin explores the sales depots (There&#39;s a few months he saw near me a Classic 30 200 and a few Euros for example) and stop buying crumbs legends at full price.

The JCM 600 offers a good price (there are around 400 on ebay) the marshall of the years 70/80, it&#39;s not a JCM 800, certainly, but the sound is powerful, warm, .............. branch guitars!</span> </div>
