Blackstar Amplification Launches New Artisan Amplifiers At Frankfurt 2008.


Blackstar announces the launch of two new heads and an extension cabinet to the range — the Artisan 15H, 15 Watt head, Artisan 30H, 30 Watt head and Artisan 212, 2x12 extension cabinet. . The 212 cabinet can be used with these heads or for those who want a compact alternative to a 4x12.

Artisan 15H
The Artisan 15H head — Two channels, one based on an EF86 Pentode and the other an ECC83 Triode,. The EL84 based power section is switchable between 5W single-ended Class A and a more dynamic push-pull 15W Class A configuration.

Artisan 30H
A 30W EL84 power stage drives a pair of classic British speakers. One channel is built around an EF86 with a 5-way Bass Shape switch and the other an ECC83 with the addition of a Voice control.

  • Switch for 10W single-ended / 30W push-pull
  • 4 x EL84 output valves
  • EF86 channel with 5-way Bass Shape switch
  • ECC83 channel with 2-way Voice switch and Master Volume
  • Hi and Lo inputs perfect for channel blending

  • 120W / 16Ω extension cabinet
  • Finger-jointed birch plywood construction
  • Heavy gauge wire
  • Celestion Vintage 30 loudspeakers
