Tube Guitar Amp Head from Carvin belonging to the V3M series

Carvin announced its V3 Series 3-channel tube amps, the V3M Micro Head and V3MC Micro Combo.

The V3M head takes features of the V3L head in a new package. It features 3 channels and a 7W/22W/50W power selector. Digital reverb is designed to eliminate the need for a pedal.  Like the V3L, the V3M micro head includes internal LED backlighting, selectable in red or blue. The 19 pound V3M has an optional 4RU rack mount bracket, allowing you to add the head to your rack setup, and an optional carry bag for transport.

Also available is the new V3MC combo.  This 1 X 12 micro combo amp takes the V3M head and puts in it a combo amp, designed for apartments, dorms, recording or playing live when mic’d or connected directly to the board.  The V3MC combo also has adjustable power. It weighs 36 pounds.  The V3MC is available in optional vinyl colors, including Python Snakeskin, Vintage Tweed, White Bronco, Red Jungle Bark and more.

In addition, Carvin is offering a selection of V3M Micro Stacks based on the V3M head.  The V3M112 combines the V3M head with the new 112V 1 X 12 cabinet. The V3M212 uses the new 212V 2 X 12 cabinet.  Both the 112V and 212V are designed to be used in a open-back or closed-back configuration. The V3M412 takes the V3M head and combines it with the 412VT slant-front cabinet.

Availability

The V3M and V3MC will begin shipping March 30, but you can pre-order now on Carvin.com.  Pre-orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
