UTILIZATION

It is very easy to tinker with his sound but two things will disturb the user:
the mix of power tubes and knob "power"

In the first case we must remember that the color of the amp is more power in the preamp. It goes by Fender Marshall by turning a knob. A good volume (mid stroke) switch the 6V6 to EL84 you will feel the difference in addition to the volume subtly tint your sound. U.S. rather in one case and in the other british.

DNAS the second case is also in the subtlety. There is no power Brake. it is a given to give more or less diet amp volume. Less Diet (1 W) = crunch faster its less tense, less compressed, more flexible and "spongy" system 30 watt = the opposite ...

Again you can hear at least from mid race volume knobs.

To make it simple: you take a box. You can go 60km / h in first, second or third. you will note in passing the difference in terms of driving, recovery, family etc ...

SOUNDS

Not a lot of headroom (30 watts huh ..) but a very nice clean sound in spite of everything: it's beautiful, it's hot A mention for the reverb it sounds a little tad cramped!.

saturated, it stops at classic rock, for me it's not going to Hard. I think the grain and fat and a little compressed. It's not Marshall.ça has personality.

OVERALL OPINION

I used about 4 months. I'm never satisfied and I opted for a JCM depuis.J 'in fond memories. Good matériel.il worth the price.

All lamps (5 12AX7, 2 EL34, 6V6 2), 2 channels (clean and gain), effects loop, reverb independent channel, channel and reverb footswitch, mix EL34/6V6, 30 watts maximum (the center position mix), XLR connectors for recording but also to play through headphones via a mixer (set to "silent record" cut the cabinet in favor of the XLR). Comes with a reinforced bag.

UTILIZATION

Simple configuration, the action of each button or switch its influence effectively, providing a rich palette of choices, good sound immediately, excellent sound in a short time, the eternal dilemma between EL34 and 6V6 is solved by using the button mix (either one or the other, a subtle mix of both). Add to this the switches "tight" and "bright".

SOUNDS

I plug the bomb in the cabinet Egnater 112X, I use a disto AMT Du Hast, a Boss DD3 delay, it swallows everything without any problems. The natural sound of the channel is clear of purity, depth, of extraordinary brilliance. My guitars: Fender Start single coil US, Musicman Luke II.

OVERALL OPINION

I believe that this is my last amp purchase, I am so amazed.
The whole head + cabinet cost me a whopping € 1170 (large budget anyway, for an amateur and family man, ha ha), but it is the obvious, that feeling is growing day by day refining the settings. The exhausting quest for a just ended, at last!

Egnater is one of those companies that has quickly climbed into one of the top positions of the amplifier building world. Their amps are highly sought after primarily due to there modules and small wattage amps. People have gone crazy over these modules in recent years and for good reason, they are very versatile and fantastic sounding. They have also done a spectacular job at designing small combo or head amp that are low wattage and excellently priced.

This a great voiced amp for rock and pop music. This amp has a mix of 6v6 an El84 power similar to a simul-class of a Mesa Boogie amp when they mix El34's with 6L6 power tubes. This allows the amp to bloom a litle bit more in the over feel. This amp is also a recording engineer's delight. You have an optional recording simulation speaker output for going to direct into a recording session or a live PA system for gigging.

SOUNDS

The ton of this amp is top notch. You have a nice silky smooth clean channel ad then on top of that you have a rock roll voiced distortion channel.Both channels have a perfect balance and blend between them and really operate on their own. This isn't an amp that does one thing well while the other suffers.

The clean is a nicely voicing channel. Is has an optional reverb for that nice room filling effect and you have two individual tight and bright switches. This react to the power section by making the amp brighten up for a more top end clean tone or tightening it up for a more classic Fender clean tone that is more bottom heavy and blues oriented. The distortion channel has the exact same switches and reverb. You can have reverb on one channel and take it off for the other channel. The gain is a nice thick fat gain that makes you feel good playing it.

OVERALL OPINION

You can fin these amp head new right at around $749, which is a great price for a well built 30 watt multiple channel amplifier. This is a great amp for small gigs in clubs and a great amp for recording with. You get that optional recording output that helps in silent playing as well. So this is a great buy for many reasons.
