UTILIZATION

Everything is very clear and easy to use.
The knobs really color the sound, it was not going around in a vacuum.

SOUNDS

This amp really has an impressive range of sounds, it's still his great strength, it sounds british and I find it rather cold. We feel the lamp's attention, but it still has a cold side that brings away from Orange or Vox. So, I think it makes a amp Hardeux, metalheads seeking to play right without drooling and heavy!

It gives excellent clean by placing the gain knob close to zero and the amount master. Side power reserve, frankly I do not see that would need 100Watt ... With the "Lo" input, we arrive at sound Christallin is really nice and straight. For me it is a very good base to work some effects!

Crunches are in the same spirit, the sound is powerful, but lack of heat for once. It's better when it's hot I find a crunch ...

Lead version is a treat, I compare it without problem to my ENGL Powerball. Big sound, the gain is present without drooling all over the place and without compressing too much. It gets good sustain, notes are apparent in the low, mid or treble, with a real fluidity.

I use it in the studio and this is the kind of sound that I love, it may be missing a bit of personality, fans rectifiers or Thunderverb can not find their account, but you can really play anything with this Beast of Hard Rock to Extreme Death Metal and it's suddenly an amp that I will keep for my records!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for more than 6 months. First so not very suitable in repeats and live. I play prog rock and I had a whole mess of cables to get out 3 sounds so not very practical and it's not even mess use its monstrous distortion.
I then used in a recording mode and then re-amping my fiddling knobs, I loved the sound of this amp!

So bad that no two channels (see 3), but otherwise 350 € OCCAZ, I do not see how you can do better! It will soon be reused for another record in my second group is more Neo Metal (no, it's not a dirty word), and it has its place alongside the Powerball!

I'm happy with the purchase, damage its config prevents me from using it more often!
