Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington has collaborated with Peavey on a signature edition of the Peavey Penta guitar amplifier, the new Penta Rossington Edition.
This 140-watt amplifier is actually five amps in one, according to Peavey.
Combining four matched EL34 tubes with four 12AX7 tubes fitted into ceramic tube sockets, the Penta Rossington Edition uses a 100% analog design to create five individual amplifiers on a single amp channel. The ePentatone™ control is designed to allow players to select among five preamp settings that reconfigure the amplifier’s components into five different amps with their own EQ voicings and gain structures.
