UTILIZATION
The confiquoi?? Simply connect a speaker at the end and start!
The manual ... no use even if there is!
The sound is good it easily?? If one seeks a grain of Mesa Triple Rectifier, no, it is not easy, but if you want a pure, raw and very vintage, then yes, we do everything thoroughly and come what may!
SOUNDS
Playing mostly blues and Rolling Stones ... inevitably, it sticks to wonder. I use 90% of the time to build on positions 4 and 1 Watt. High precision, these are real watts class A. ..! So, 4watts, you get easily along with a drummer like Moulinex (mine is the former Molodoï ... I assure you it smashes!).
However, if you want beautiful clear sound clear and well at the same time, compression and volume, switch on an AC30 or 50, this little head is really not made for that.
I used it for 2 years with my Meloduende DomCustom, a Gibson SG, a Strat, 3 TV Fender, Gretsch G5438T Pro Jet. Between the shovels and the amp there is often a Ernie Ball Volume, one or two shop TS808, a Jekyll & Hyde, one or two old Vox wah, my favorite Nova System and in any case, it sounds!
OVERALL OPINION
As told earlier, I use it for 2 years and a few months in stereo with a modified Excelsior, ben ca necessarily brings this bump in the midrange that Vox has almost invented! Riffer way for Ron Wood (my idol) is THE thing for you!
Peculiarity of mine, the tone knob has passed away after a fall yellow transparent liquid that makes the foam (the thing that is enquille all the time, all day) and suddenly, it is tone at 0 constantly, well, it sounds the same!
I played and still have a lot of other amps but this one, plus the Excelsior recently, is really the thing about my sound. I play a lot of knob or a volume pedal and it always responds appropriately to the nuances of games. I have long played with AC15 and 50 but my back keeps me up these critters over 15kg, and then, in most rooms, caf 'conc', it is best to avoid the windows just by farting balance! With 4TV, you can play donf 'in 4/1 watt depending on size and take any front (personally, I use a 57 or 906), you'll sound piglet under all circumstances! (And remember the flights of Page recorded with a Pignose ...!). I almost tried everything before Fender, Marsh 'm' all Blackstar, Line 6 (!) Egnater, Kustom Laney ... etc ... etc ... and one who seemed most convincing / coherent is the Vox because it is pure and raw.
In terms of negative, that is the reverse of the MEDAL a simple and single channel amp, it is not everything (even pancakes). It is confined to blues to rock, possibly dirty country or rockab'vénère but no more.
So it is certainly not a Matchless or Toneking, on the other hand, it's worth the price of the carrying case of the two brands mentioned! So if you want a good authentic sound that respects the dynamics and you a ministry of culture in developing countries, DARK headlong budget!
