UTILIZATION
Yes, it is easily adjustable. It is anyway useful to read the user manual.
SOUND QUALITY
I use it between my bass and the mixer and even between the bass and amp head (not in the effects loop!)
I have noticed a difference when comparing with / without preamp.
Already with the original lamp, it was not bad. Then I could equip it with a lamp that I SPAX Mesa Boogie "in stock".
This preamp makes the bass sound much larger, it's a real pleasure.
on the other hand, do not wait to add more saturation.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for several months.
I have not tested other preamps, but I did my "market research" on the Web before buying.
The sounds of knob "V3" are all very different, but mean anyway nuances. That's good. There's "headroom" at will (= decibels to be added to weak signals).
The adapter 230V/9V done against a little light (it heats up, but hey, as long as it does not burn).
This unit, I will take it.
