OVERALL OPINION
J have hesitated between several sound cards:
Layla-24
-RME Multiface
Motu 828 mkII-
After reading the reviews below I thought that it had to be more than enough for what I wanted to do.
My problem was to have a single card to install, nor that there is no bug, that it is fully compatible with XP, and especially that she has a latency <10 ms using the VSTi and with multiple audio tracks.
Conclusion: J have done well to trust those who have some experience, the map is stable, I would use the Cubase SX 2 + Kompakt + + Plugsound of audio tracks and all rolls for the moment with a 7ms latency.
Although my computer for the moment is not dedicated to the Mao, I find the results quite good for my use.
J got a problem with an external hard drive USB 2 and a TV tuner card that I would crash the computer: the conflict between the drivers of ua 1000 and those of my TV tuner card!
and j have on my computer full of programs that start at the same time games etc, despite this comes a day use VSTi effects, with a latency of 7ms, then goal achieved.
