This guitar Bc Rich Flying V was made in Korea.
I bought this guitar used (almost new) there is less than a year and is mounted with two double guitarheads microphones that are more oriented metal.
UTILIZATION
I would first like to point out that this model of guitar has nothing to do with the models 'low end' of Bc Rich are particularly uncomfortable (like bronze, platinum, invisibolt ...).
The finish of this guitar are superb, the wooden handle is very pleasant to the touch and the light (feeling less "carbon" that flamed maple).
The size of the handle disturbed me a little early to be familiar with my Jackson (round super fine). The handle is rather thick and moderately wide.
Finally, the more I play it and the more I like!
It allows a fast game and good access to acute (requires flying ..).
The weight of the guitar is quite correct;
The balance is very good.
As for the V-shape, it takes some practice to play sitting down, but you get used quickly.
The floyd is well made and makes tuning quite low (B, C, D, E), personally I play in D (do not take too heavy a draft if the screws on the Floyd will start to max and then catch head ..).
SOUNDS
I play mostly metal (Death and Trash) and is perfect for this style (the same time it is not too much the look Jazz
I play on a Marshall Valvestate 100w amp and it sounds nikel.
Its clear the sound with microphones j'obtient guitarheads is perfect (a slight crunch to the microphone but it is quite normal).
In distortion: the sound is perfect, with a special mention for the treble sounding great!! you can get a fat well if we play below the E, while a well defined concervant.
Only the low notes missing some fishing (this is probably due to my microphone and my settings still acute ...).
OVERALL OPINION
I have for almost a year and I must say it is perfect for my style of music. (Metal).
+ What I like: his look, his finishing his round, the floyd, his treble.
What I like least: You just have to be careful when the munipule, not to the di Cognia (wood body is very fragile).
Price: 1000 euros in 2007 (I bought it almost new 800 euros).
