This guitar is made in Korea I believe.
24 keys, 2 humbuckers humbrukers (the same on all guitars gothics)
There are two models one with and one without vibrato.
3 knobs for volume and a pickup selector.
The body and neck of the guitar are mahogany.

UTILIZATION

The neck is super nice, the weight is reasonable but there are two problems:

- It's a detail, but the buttons are not only a marked XII at 12th fret is present for the rest you have to look on the upper side of the handle.
Not very practical for playing solos but anyway we can get key 3 times for nothing.

- The holding nothing more boring, you can not play sitting because the V-shape does not allow it and standing head of the guitar tends to s'orrienter down, it breaks the mouth.

SOUNDS

The highs are good qualities and sounds are saturated very powerful.
It's a perfect guitar to play any style of metal, more like Epiphone is the same concept that you benefit from Gibson's extreme versatility.
It has one of the best Epiphone guitar sounds can be compared to the Les Paul models.

OVERALL OPINION

6 months that I use, most of this guitar is the look (black gothic tower and V-shape) and sound.
The only weak point is the lack of comfort in holding the guitar.
The price is excellent value for about 530 Euros.
I tried all Epiphone models is for me only happens to exceed this guitar is the flyingv Korina who cleans more harmonious sounds.

- For cons I can find no way that the lack of buttons is a default! The handle is more beautiful as well, and I think those Submitted on top of the handle is enough for most guitarists play. Eh gentlemen? (Unless it is because we are stingy?)
- It is true, however, is not it great balance miss, and this can interfere ... Like the large size of the guitar! Attention to the walls, it can happen quickly it runs everywhere!

SOUNDS

Okay so I play metal and rock with it. I tried a few but the Blues are too shrill treble pickups pass the 12th fret.
Apart from this default, the sound is correct trs, especially distortion! The shape and finish, I do not think you play anything other than good big disto ...
Well its sounds like dj but I intend any of the same to replace them with EMG, it is "less" but the versatile it will spit fire!

OVERALL OPINION

We are husbands .... Uh .... I've had fvrier last, and she did not! Apart from the replacement of microphones quality issue detracting And is not it wonderful that guitar?
I have also not tried many other guitars before it, is a favorite that I bought .... It would have been easy to regret but not .. It is my favorite!
Well well adpend sr what you play but qualitprix issue, say nothing, for 540 euros with Floyd I'm not and yes, I would do this choice! With a change of pickups it worth the Chres more guitars!

For the body is supposed to be mahogany, but given the weight you wonder if it's not frommage holes!

UTILIZATION

The balance of this guitar is the big problem: it pitches down without stopping then you get tired to keep straight while playing. Good with a can of ingniosit you can reach with the strap a compromise, but the farewell look fabulous ...

Another problem: even with the volume 0 refers to the microphones ...

Otherwise round enjoyable, well rounded, not too thick, Access in acute ... er should draw you a picture? CONTRL a little out of hand, but at least they do not have the game gnent

SOUNDS

With the body "allgquot, and the strings through the body empty sound is excellent and good sustain.
The pickups are the DDIS big sound from Rock to Metal Neo but no Jazz or Blues.
Plutt sounds fat and dark, big potato in rhythm as well as solo.
Volume and Tone progressive enough to let the bottom (like on the guitar too, even high-end!)

OVERALL OPINION

I wanted a Flying V, and I ordered this guitar because it silent inconspicuous in store: took me badly! NEVER BUY A SCRATCH WITHOUT TRYING! Especially if it's made in Korea. APRS sold a year. It sounds good, but I did not enjoy the play, and the report is qualitprix trs trs means.

OVERALL OPINION

I for 4 years I love the lightness of the strings I like heights not painting because after some time of the matt paint shines more than expected force of friction in any case a great value price quality part that fo to better micro micro epiphone because c the shit I would do because no one has the choice will not 2

Construction quality Asian Industrial correct (7 / 10), 3 simple electronic knobs, a switch and a 3 slecteur positions.Du classic.
The matte black or "gothic black" is nice but takes fingerprints easily.
The neck is glued to a mahogany body says. This should be nato and may even be a plywood so it is lgre nato! But the sound is okay though.
The rest of the acastillage plutt is strong and I was not inspired by fear particulire.

UTILIZATION

The neck is playable. Certainly a little thick and a bit wide but not be dsagrable. This is not an Ibanez Wizard neck or typ Stratocaster, but I do not remember a beam either.

We go down pretty well, we go back quickly: the form V apprciable for it.
Ergonomics are good, despite a tendency nosedive, a form not sitting empty place to play (despite the gum on the horn ct thigh) and think it will play with a horn between legs when sitting. Not drink the sea.

The sound is good, even with the Epiphone pickups. But there is nothing gothic or mtallaode. It is not bad for dfend rock and blues, but the pickups do not have the precision nor the gain for hard rock. I think this guitar MRIT a change of pickups. Can not be Duncans or EMG, which would rate the price of the guitar, but the GFS or Bill Lawrence still affordable.

I used a combo of Flextone3 Line6.

At the risk of rpter, the sound is fat its field. A little pteux, trs round. The clean liked me for plans with a nice note note rverb (simu Fender). The large distortion quickly becomes pteuse and few exploitable with the original Epiphone pickups.

- What are the sounds you prfrez, you dtest?
The clean trs left me good memories.

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
I used a few months before I Spare to another range.

- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
I like the look enough moves away from its (paradoxical fun) and am under apprci the absence of cover ... and a cover for V-factor is not found in any shop.

- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
Oh yes, and I had many other APRS.

- How do you report qualitprix?
I got it used in perfect state. For about 300 euros era. I found this price trs correct, the guitar is good quality and well worth the price to him nine attribute.

In second or troisime guitar, with a stratode for slamming and plump for the LP, I think the V Gothic would ease. This is the kind of guitar that makes you happy, it is nice, not ugly and still a big impression those who have never seen a prs!

The Goth series of guitar is Gibsons recent attempt to give some of their guitars a more metal image. Epiphone is Gibsons budget line and they have their versions of the Gothic line of guitar. They are built with the same wood and to the same specs but with different electronics and they are built overseas. Epiphones version of the Flying V Gothic model is close to what the first series of Gibson Gothic Flying V's were like. These guitars have passive pickups where as the new Gibson Gothic Flying V's have active pickups. They have 22 frets on a mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard. The rosewood fretboard is dyed to have a darker look closer to ebony. There are no inlays apart from a 12 in roman numerals on the 12th fret. It has two humbucking pickups which are Epiphone pickups. Two volume and one master tone control with a 3 way toggle switch pickup selector. What makes this model unique is that it comes with a Floyd Rose tremolo system which is pretty rare on any Gibson or Epiphone.

UTILIZATION

Flying V's overall have better fret access than Les Paul type guitars. This Flying V is based off of the 1958 Flying V. It has more of an angular look. The upper fret access is better because the body joins the neck at a higher fret. The V shape might be hard for some people to play sitting down. You may have to play in a classical position with the guitar in your lap if you are playing while sitting down. Some models have a strip of rubber to add more traction to the bottom of the guitar, making it easier to play while sitting down. Standing up the shape gives the guitar perfect balance. With the Floyd Rose you will need to make sure it is setup properly or it will not stay in tune well. Remember with the tremolo you will not be able to change tunings or strings very easily. Overall I prefer hardtail bridges to tremolo systems.

SOUNDS

With the thinner body Flying V's generally sound similar to SG style guitars. They both overall use less wood than a Les Paul or Explorer so they will have a brighter crisper sound. The pickups on this explorer have open coils and are a bit hotter to give you a more metal sound. Epiphone pickups normally are not that great. On many Epiphone guitars the stock pickups will sound pretty muddy. These pickups are a little less muddy and normal Epiphone pickups but I would still recommend a pickup change. The big mahogany body on the guitar helps to give it a big tone. This is what you would expect on a Flying V. You can really feel the body resonate with all that wood. The tremolo lets you get more little effects with your sound but if you use it too much it may put your guitar out of tune.

OVERALL OPINION

This is a good alternative to the Gibson models that cost thousands more. With the tremolo system you are able to do more metal tricks live divebombs and whatnot. Just make sure the tremolo is setup properly. This guitar with a set of EMG pickups would be a total metal machine. If youa re looking for a Gibson with a Floyd that is built for metal you cant get more perfect than this guitar.

This guitar is a good alternative to the Gibson Flying V Gothic model. It is much cheaper than the Gibson version and with a pickup swap the guitar can sound just as good. If you drop in a set of EMG's in this guitar it will be a metal machine. This guitar is nice and lightweight so you can gig it all night long and since it is reasonably priced you are not afraid to take it out on shows. If it gets chipped or something it is not a big deal. The Flying V is a classic guitar shape and has a classic metal look. If you are looking for a great budget guitar that has some room for upgrades this is a good bet.
