This midi keyboard is bright thanks to its numerous assignable controls: 8 knobs linear, rotary knobs 8, 9 buttons, pitch bend and numerous configuration possibilities. In short, a priori, good.

UTILIZATION

The keys have a completely correct answer. Configuration relatively correct and documented. For use as I could give a 7/10 or 8/10. But the problem is elsewhere ...

OVERALL OPINION

Purchased in 2003, this keyboard is a wreck that will end in the trash. The problem? More than one key on two no longer work. I have always used and stored in very good condition (no dust, no moisture, covered when I did not used it). This is the chronic disease of the unit: build quality but reasonable contactors key low cost so they do not last more than a few months. It's infuriating to have to throw it away, while the shell, keys, electronics, etc. Everything is ok apart from those stupid switches ...
For comparison, I have a Roland D10 has over 25 years and still works as a young man.
Disappointed!

I thought I could just touch my big mistake but we can not rsonablement INTERPRETATION music with this keyboard. (L I should have known)
Config gnrale relatively simple but the manual is not Fully translated into French and knowledge apprhender South are Necessary for the technical part (in English).

OVERALL OPINION

In terms of global opinion, was going to be simple.
One, then several dead keys make this keyboard innutilisable after a year!
Warranty Finally, j'arrte fees and strongly deprecated this keyboard.
I'm not the only judging by the reviews previous ones.
May be Edirol should offer support for a Repair Tool for manufacturing defect?
Otherwise, 300 euros two kilos of plastic, go your way.

I PCR80 that almost never used, and I have 6 or 7 buttons that do not work or trs evil. Some come just by pressing it many times ...

I think it's the contacts that have encrasss. I see lots of people who have this problem on and PCR50 PCR80. Scandalous to sell crap like this.

I saw on another forum that it had to disassemble, nttoyer contacts with alcohol, then put the pencil gray above or contact the carbon bomb ...

More that the disassemble because it is unplayable in the State.

Conclusion: Do not buy cheap plastic as well as a. Allchant on price, but zero quality. To keep a year and then throw what!

In addition, the manual is incomprhensible and trs is complicated to program the keys must be in hexadecimal ingnieur! Then on a mac, not everything works ...
