UTILIZATION

In home studio changes everything. It's really night and day on his acoustic taken. And the compressor works wonders on electric guitars.

SOUND QUALITY

The effect is far from clear but it is precisely its quality. It really brings a grain reminiscent of the best British rock albums of the late 60's. For me the best sound is to rock.

OVERALL OPINION

For those who like a clean and tasteless to Phil collins and alan parson, go your way this preamp is not for you. on the other hand, if you like old albums of stones, those of the Beatles, to name the greatest, go for it because you have the sound you are looking for.

This is a lamp that includes prampli also a compressor and an enhancer.

UTILIZATION

Very simple to use and quite intuitive.
The edition of the sounds is relatively simple when you know the principle of a compressor and an enhancer (which is not evident for all).
But the manual (in English) is clear and offers trs rglages "basic" for voice, guitar, bass ... trs effective to begin with.

SOUND QUALITY

L is really good: the sound is good plutt respect while adding a good touch of warmth. I could not do without it for vocals or acoustic guitars.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for at least 2 years.
I prfre, the report "time rglage / efficacitquot;: you turn the knobs and rings!
It is a good value quality price trs;
With the exprience, I would do without hsiter choice.
Of course, if you want the sound of death that kills, it may be pramp a bit limited but will have to pay the price!
If you do not want to take the head make rglages for three hours while having a good feedback, then VC3 is for you!
The notes set takes into account the fact that it is the entry level. So do not compare with anything either.

SOUND QUALITY

Sounds very nice. Not transparent at all, a touch of dirty, like a lot. Filter is slightly extreme acute injury. I will not use it to record a voice ad or to the variet ... Everything else is so great! In fact it does not work well with the soup is just that ^ ^

By doing a bit saturating effect is obtained very nice! In doing really saturate it gives a very fuzzy in puff attack. I do not like but it may be an effect ... at least not as usable as saturated TL Audio for example.

The compress as the enhancer are very intuitive and has involved many of the general color preamp. I use them directly in the decision. This approach often provides more spontaneity that treatment to the mix. This preamp is meant to be used in that spirit. I use it on voice, drums atmosphere, taken guitar amplifier, bass line Line (Rack live bassist is super). Not tested on brass but I am very curious about the outcome.


OVERALL OPINION

I've had a good time and I'm not disappointed at all. I paid mine about 80 bucks on ebay. It is clear from the entry level with all its limitations in terms of quality. it will never be worth a "" true "" "studio preamp.

BUT: the value for money is huge. This is the entry level but good. Far above all cochoneries a lamp that offer cheap wonders for you only add to the final breath (but hey it seems that vintage is the breath ^^...) This little preamp has a real good color, a little dirty sometimes, but in the right direction.

The ideal complement to a home studio preamp sound card, often bland, and does not allow this lightweight musical saturation.

I do it again this election and I would take even a second ... at that price ...
