Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol F1

Native Instruments announces that the Kontrol F1 is now available worldwide.

The latest controller from the team behind TRAKTOR KONTROL S4, KONTROL S2 and KONTROL X1 is a pad-based, USB-powered hardware controller built to control the Remix Deck technology in the included TRAKTOR PRO 2.5 software.

Designed for DJing, the KONTROL F1 is designed to let you launch audio clips, loops or samples using 16 multi-colored LED pads. Users can switch between up to 64 tracks, loops and one-shot samples on each deck, utilizing a mixer section with four volume faders and dedicated filter knobs for control over each sample.

TRAKTOR KONTROL F1 includes the full version of the recently released TRAKTOR PRO 2.5 software, provided as a download to all registered users. TRAKTOR PRO 2.5 is also available as a free update to all users of the TRAKTOR 2 generation. The hardware controller was designed to control the Remix Decks and provides control over the new feature, benefiting from bi-directional software-hardware integration and offering visual feedback through the multi-colored LED pads. DJs can control up to four Remix Decks at once and save their work as a Remix Set with its respective beat grids, BPM and key information.

Native Instruments is giving away more than 20 Remix Sets for free to all TRAKTOR PRO 2.5 users – including Sets prepared by artists such as Pan-Pot, Stewart Walker, and Marc Houle, plus a selection of genre-based Remix Sets and a tutorial pack.

It ships with a full version of TRAKTOR PRO 2.5, available via download on registration. All owners of TRAKTOR PRO 2, TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2, TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 and TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 can update to TRAKTOR PRO 2.5 for free.
