Now shipping and available, the VCI-100MkII features Vestax’s platter technology and according to the company it has “increased pulse resolution” (2400 pulses per rotation) and “optimized torque control.” DJs can tune the JOG wheel’s rotation torque to their preference by adjusting the centerpiece.
The VCI-100MKII allows DJs to control 4 decks. The symmetrical control layout and DECK selector switches are designed to provide “effortless switching between decks, ” Vestax says.
A 2 input 4 output audio interface has been built into the VCI-100MKII, designed to enable the addition of CD players, turntables, effects, samplers and more to the DJs setup. The VCI-100MKII can also be used with other audio interfaces.
The VCI-100MKII’s has an anodized aluminum top panel. DJs can make adjustments using new designed control knobs with anti-slip coating. LED backlights are designed to let DJs view their current setup status while the multi function joy stick offers access to track lists, track previewing and track loading.
The VCI-100MKII comes bundled with Traktor LE DJ software with a special upgrade offer for Traktor PRO.
