The installation is very simple.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Most often used with audio DJ2, I also tested with my sound card hercules rmx and MAYA 44 SE. IN any asio sound card works perfectly.

Performance is good even on older machines and do not need to talk about in a generation Core i3/i5/i7 mobile.

This software is heavy, but it still runs well on older machines. It is advisable to scan all these mp3 on very old machines before mixing, ca allow to prevent the CPU is exceeded in case of intense activity

OVERALL OPINION

So I since version 2.1 and I bought 2.5 and now I'm still in 2.6

I especially mixes classic way, I do not like playing around with effects, sampler etc..

Despite a mix classic style, this software is almost perfect.

This is the only software that integrates several types of EQ connnus brands like Pioneer, Ecler, Allen and Health ...

I especially chosen for its very wide going great with my vestax, the two people together really well.

This is a software that can be used in several scenarios (internal = external controller = noon and mixer)

For 75 euros it is almost free.

I tested Mixvibes, Cross, Mixxx, Virtual DJ 7, and just for the Traktor worth the detour.

Although I adore this app, always prefer the mix on a mixer for analog sound.

For me a controller midi + + external soundcard mixer is the best config possible. Provided that the three elements are good

Native Instruments Traktor pro 2 is a bundle that I knew that I needed to get because I have several of Native Instruments products and software’s. All of the products that they produce are very easy to use and have a great quality about them. The Traktor Pro 2 is a complete system that will take care of all of your DJ needs. The Traktor Pro 2 will get you mixing great songs and putting together great mixes for clubs your friends and family right away, basically as soon as you get it out of the box.

I did need to manual though just because this system was a lot different then some of the other bundles that I have gotten from Native instruments. It required a little reading on my part but there where no issues after I figured a few things out. I had no compatibility problems when installing it on my dual core pc running windows vista with service pack 2.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Some of the cool things about this is that you can synce it right up to your ipod! So you can get right the some of you r favorite and popular songs right away. I am also pretty sure it can sync right up with iTunes to purchase songs or download free promo songs. I havent used the Itunes features yet. The built in mixer has multiple eq filter types and it will give you total control over your whole project and mixing.


OVERALL OPINION

Overall, great software, before I purchased it I was thinking “Is this really going to work?, Being that I love hardware so much? “ But after using it, I had no issues with this software hardware integration. I highly recommen this to anyone who wants to be a DJ! I am really happy with my purchase and would do It again knowing what I know now I will make sure other people purchase this too!

- I bought the whole Traktor Pro 2 / Kontrol S2 in November 2011.
I chose Traktor for its reputation, reliability and the many posts of explanation that can be found on the net.

- I use Traktor Pro Kontrol 2 with a S2 with a home cinema amp and a Yamaha speaker system 2.1 (Wharfedale / Audience)

- I use this setup mainly for the "home djing" and a few evenings with friends.

GETTING STARTED

- Installation and configuration is intuitive and easy. Many tutorials exist everywhere in-depth to set their system.
Es a damper on updates that are tedious and can cause problems such as retrieving the settings. (Analysis of securities, cue ...)

- The paper manual is enough to start basic. Reading the 300 page PDF are essential to master perfectly Traktor.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

- The unit is powered by an Acer 2009 (AMD M300 dual core / 4 GB / 640 GB / Win 7 64). Despite the relative "age" of Traktor pc runs like a clock after all optimized.

- Analysis of a library of several thousand titles takes a long time anyway.

- I've never had a crash with this configuration.

OVERALL OPINION

3 months at a rate of 3-4 hours per week.

Before I had a U-control pro mix in MixVibes.

+ The effects are very successful and efficient.

- The ability to arrange the items in the window according to its use. There should be a system of elements "floating"

The value for money is good for first purchase. The updates should be cheaper cons. Thirty euros would be perfect.
I will remain faithful to traktor currently.

Ergonomics Sympa tro not large nor too small (cool colors), Traktor Scratch software available (al time) and for me who has two platinum vynnil + Djm 600 c is good.
Traktor is really nice (indeed, playlist management, samples etc ...)
I jl Surtour uses at home in home studio in May it n is not very resource-intensive (Intel i5 4GB of ram more than enough).

but hey they can not do everything, you still things to discover!

A cool stuff on the record your mix directly not need another sound card and the same for your samples (they are automatically registered!)

OVERALL OPINION

3 months of use, completely satisfied (only minus the Crossface, which is a bit steep even if he is correct)
In my opinion the best compromise quality / price! Jai essyé the Pioneer and Denon and for me the denon is better for beatjugglin, the pioneer for mobile DJs (the strongest of the three quality requires Pioneer)
but the traktor S4 (with the crossfader innobender exceeds 2 without problem but must add 140 euros and goodbye warranty!
In short I am completely satisfied with this choice and do it again without hesitation!

I started with the LE version and the Pro, the logical evolution made me do the update.
Because I like Native Instruments, their apps are powerful.
I use it with a small controller (Vestax Typhoon).
I was a DJ with turntables, sold long ago. At one point I wanted to get back, mainly for fun but since I mix with Traktor, I totally want to go back for good.

All features are software pro there.

Easy installation if you are connected to the net, otherwise it's just a mess but it works. Regardless it's really pain in the ass this obligation to be connected ... The general configuration is quite simple, manual configuration of a controller requires some thought but nothing insurmountable. No conflict at this time, the complete manual.

I use a Macbook Pro, it turns nikel.
The sound card built into my controller satisfies me.

OVERALL OPINION

I have a few months.
I used the LE version (somewhat limited) Virtual DJ (about 4 minutes before every turn) and another thing not good either.
What I like most is the interface to everything, simple, who do not have tons.
What I like least is the part sampler, oversimplified, is missing a few settings ...
The price / quality ratio is a little tricky on software, but can be trusted to NI stuff running ...
I do it again this election, I even really feels to plunge with S4 ...

What characteristics have motivated your choice? I already use Traktor for some time, I attach importance to NI products which are of outstanding quality, Traktor is no exception to the rule.

For how long have you been using it? Version 2 from the output (Traktor for almost 2 years.)

Did you try many other models before getting this one? Mixvibes I never hang, but VDJ old very very bad, Traktor surpasses it in many ways and most of them will imporatnt, Traktor's audio engine is much better.

What is so special that you like best? The quality of the audio engine, effects and many of excellent quality, filters, sampler, Pro interface and very well think, the waveform, low CPU load.

Fewest: Support NI clearly out of touch, I hope you do not have to do to them! I take off 1 point, and I put 8 because of their reactivity to review!

But Traktor 2 remains an excellent mixing software.

I made this version because I already had the old pro version.

I use it with the Denon DN-MC6000 and I really find the two products suitable.

No worries, installed in 5 minutes.
on the other hand do not forget to restart your entire system (even on Mac) because the home was at 90% CPU requested that I found really strange but after reboot everything is ok.

OVERALL OPINION

This version for 2 months but the old version for over 1 year because it does not change the starch of the program.

I tried VitruajDJ ... uninstalled quickly because I find it really too "kid" compared to Traktor.
I also MixVibes but do not have the same job since it is in use vinyl.

What I like is the speed to be able to mix in 1 minute .. program start to connect the controller and go ... And the mix with some samples is an interesting new way to mix

The less I do not know because I think it is really well thought out. And if used it to pro level to not need the 10,000 gadgets and skins as VirtualDJ offers for example.

Money is really interesting and not very expensive. on the other hand do not forget he does invest in a midi controller.

I would buy it without hesitation because I did not find anything better to use pro.
