Published on 01/21/03 at 15:00I got this guitar at a local music store for $325. I was looking for a good, quality guitar to start learning to play on but one that wouldn't cost a fortune.
I love pretty much everything about this guitar. The neck is like an electric, easy to get your hand around and easy to fret. The sound is really good. Didn't know much about it before I got it but since then everything I've seen has been good. Every gutiar player I know that has seen my Taylor really love it.
I'm not sure how well it would handle getting dropped. It just seems so fragile, but so far no problems.
Seems very well built. It's not as fancy as more expensive guitars. Not crazy about the screws that hold the neck being seen on the front, but the way it's built there isn't much other choice. Still a great guitar.
If you want a well made, great playing acoustic that doesn't cost a small fortune this is it.
