seen like that it pays too much of mine ... an old roland has almost 20 years .... carracteristique enough to limit ... but what a sequencer inimitable!

the big highlights of the 505 (and all the STR in general) is the slight shift in the sequence that is not "carrquot; sequncer as of today (RM1X, MPC, etc.. ) groove ... it naturally slightly displaced orbits notes, which gives hi hat or snares innimitable a feeling ....

The sequencer and very very easy to use ... perfect for learning basic programming of a pattern, and allows for use of live playing with his pads to change the pattern directly on the fly ... and play 2 and 3 paterns patterns ... what a piece in 4 / 4 will create a lag and provides a groove great (at least for one type tekno music nikel it works!)

over the sequencer can be triggered or the net stop START / STOP button ... making it a very bone machine to head the chain noon to make "stop & go".

SOUNDS

Of course the sounds are 20 years old and are not modifiable (not expect to hear a waldorf) but used with some effect and the well doss HH, snares or any percu sound great (especially for breaks)

OVERALL OPINION

This is an ideal machine for improvisation in a live electronic music, at least in a home studio behind cubase!
moreover is small, its flexibility and ridiculously low prices today are a BR ideal for learning to program a sequence ... and even then ... It's been 6 years that I have a TR 505 and TR 707 one and I use tjrs FREQUENTLY ... (I even tried to buy a TR 626!
