OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 5-6 years when I started in this business.
A reference to the sound of live singing. I also use it in the studio for talkback or for making very nervous kind Hip Hop or Metal.
Likes: Cheap, sturdy, go anywhere, everyone know, cheap.
I do not like: I'm still looking.
Lately I use it mostly for vocals. For lead I prefer to use a beta 58, which is starting to get asked a lot on the data sheets.
The SM58 go anywhere and any type of concert and that the application data sheet. They will always be glad to have at least one SM58 if not to have what they asked.
